"18,000 years ago the whole planet used to be covered in ice."

YOU just made a clown out of yourself...

  • so you cant help but spread propaganda can you? what about talking about the most beautiful place to go on holiday? no! Just listen to pedophile Al Gore and you will be safe. you should be ashamed of yourself

  • The 1997 Constitution of the Maldives designates Islam as the official state religion. The Government interprets this provision to impose a requirement that citizens be Muslims. Freedom of religion is restricted significantly. The law prohibits the practice by Maldivian citizens of any religion other than Islam. The president is the "supreme authority to propagate the tenets of Islam." Government regulations are based on Islamic law (Shari'a).

  • @kingsofgrooove

You are, of course, free to spend your money as you please.

Other people might draw the line at bolstering regimes promoting the proposition that the word of a women is worth half that of a man.

Some might object to the hypocrisy of one law for foreigners and another for the indigenous population.

  • @becharev

....the scourge of the Modern world is Islam....

.....A religion competently non-compatible with the world...

  • 100 CM above see level is not GOOD if a tsunami comes its probbly going to be 40-50 feet ... I suggest people start packing Global warming is here

  • @oneigekko i totally agree with you but still carbon emition causes the earth to heat up much faster than it would normally.

  • @oneigekko You didn't pay attention. There is a correlation between global warming and carbon dioxide in the air. It is a very well known effect that carbon dioxide retains heat on the Earth's surface thereby warming it. The ice ages thousands of years ago took exactly that - thousands of years - to end. Among the causes were variations in solar output, vulcanism etc. so the Earth's surface heated up gradually. We're experiencing a sudden (~200 yrs) rise in temperatures which is man made.

  • All propaganda. The only threat is the one coming from London.

  • @oneigekko i agree with you, it may be a natural change. however, it is not occuring at a natural rate, i personally think it has been accelerated by human activity- not caused, but made worse.

  • We have to stop eating cow meat, these animals produce a lot off gas wich makes it hotter on Earth, that is not a joke!?no Goverment in the world speaks abouth that, wich is very strange because science knows this already some years. Also a lot off poor countrys are buying all the second hand machines, cars from out off Europe. So we are selling our polluting machines to other places on Earth and producing more"less" polluting machines, cars, ect.!! So where, how and who, can end that cirkel???

  • this guy can't pronouce maldives !! LOL

  • @oneigekko youre right the ice caps are whats left and they have been melting since the ice age

  • @oneigekko actually the rate at which temperature increase is happening is much larger than it occured in the past. Large temperature fluctuations in the past both increasing and decreasing temperatures have a certain trend. However the trend that has been occuring since a human population boom in the 300-500 years caused that increase to offshoot average that was calculated for the last 3 billion years. Electricity is a good thing, coal/fossil fuels, they are things to worry about

  • Climate conditions in the past provide evidence that rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are associated with rising global temperatures. Human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas), and secondarily the clearing of land, have increased the concentration of carbon dioxide, methane, and other heat-trapping, greenhouse gases in the atmosphere . The consensus is that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities

  • @oneigekko

Scientific opinion on climate change is given by synthesis reports, scientific bodies of national or international standing, and surveys of opinion among climate scientists. Individual scientists, universities, and laboratories contribute to the overall scientific opinion via their peer reviewed publications, and the areas of collective agreement. There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.

  • Why are people so stupid? I'll never understand why so many people fill the role of a lemming.

Some overpaid corporate talking heads say "the sea is rising" and liberals all over start running around panicking.

Go look up the word "erosion". It's been going on for a long time; long before we created planes, trains, and automobiles...

There are several island civilizations that have been lost long before our "technology"...

Liberalism is a mental disorder - Savage

  • you cant prove the earth was here 4.5 million years ago. ^^

  • i wonder if they got good weed there

  • Visit the Maldives and you'll become an eco-activist. Even if you were the biggest gas-user in your city. Sitting behind a computer will never teach you the lessons of experiencing it first hand.

  • these islands will need to be de-populated. Bring some of that easygoing way of life to the US! C'mon you can't have a nation 1 meter above sea level

  • @oneigekko....where should i begin to prove you wrong? i'm not saying there isn't any truth in your comment though :)

  • @oneigekko your statement is not incorrect, but it isn't fully correct either...it's true that Global Warming periods existed in the past but they were not like this one, you continue driving your fucking pick-ups to bring your kids or whatever to school your Maledives will be gone and that's only small piece of a huge picture of chain reactions that you will regret motherfucker

  • @wrath666japel Motherfucking treehugger. You're not a tolerant bunch are you fucking bastards? THankfully, your kind don't believe in breeding so die motherfucker while I go drive my F-150 around the block for no fucking reason than to fucking sink you fucking Malfuckingdives.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrEthekyaa Haha wait...I won't take this seriously now, you can't possibly drive an F-150, you kidding me ?? The USA isn't what it used to be, one tenth or so of every household in the USA lives of food stamps...yeah, the country is in deep shit? go on dreaming about your ferrari; yeah seems you R not in any position to say such shit, no matter if it was 4 fun or not, in fact I think you should get down from there arrogant asswipe and try to understand at least some of the world around you

  • i love traveling!!!!!

and of course i adore exotic places

  • Its true that, Its due to the green house effects today we are facing what we have done, day after day if we continuously carry on,without any of these warning, everyone will face, act before its too late.

  • awww...i wish i could help, i feel so guilty for living on HIGH FUCKING GROUND ..!.

  • @oneigekko That's true. But these changes has never happened as fast as they do now.

  • no smoking hahaha

  • Even if humans aren't responsible for climate change, we still need to do something about it. It's not like it will go away because it's not our fault. It is PROVEN that climate change is happening, regardless of whether we caused it or not.

  • @halb42 If its not our fault its not our problem. Climate has changed in history, so why we should try to stop it if its natural? Nature will survive and then get used to new conditions, some species will die, but thats just what happened in history way before human. We should never try to change the way how nature works.

Biggest threat to environment is now huge amount of trash and other bad stuff that is made by human, and the fact that population is too big and still rising.

  • Bullshit

  • @oneigekko but then it was because of of massive volcano eruptions lots of places on earth and the whole planet was not covered, only Europe. Now its caused by mostly Co2 and Methane gass. Don't comment on things you don't know anything about.

  • Oh yeah and it is inhabited by muslims who will piss in your drink and call your wife a whore. Don't go there!

  • Problem is, we cannot control the SUN! It has been the primary reason for global climate change in past centuries, warmin, ice ages, etc., not man-made pollution. Man contributes a microscopic amount to global warming. Sure we need to control how we treat the earth, and I do. I heard one scientist decribe man's effect on global warming with the following anology: On a football field of 100 yards, man's effect is one inch of it. Sounds about right.

  • MrHardrod2 nice replying....

  • ye welocme to planet earth where the climate changes and islands sink, get the fuck over it and stop trying to intervine.

  • @oneigekko You would say that wouldn't you. With your massive intellect, you figured that out all by yourself.

  • @magikk He's my science teacher.

  • If we forget Politics, Interests and so on, we can use our own brain and understanding: The global warming is increasing exponentially in the last about 30-40 years. Now, is it a coincidence that we've burned fossile fuel almost exponential the last about 30-40 years? Well??

  • Listen there is absolutely nothing we can do to change global warming, it is a natural occurrence here on planet Earth. We might not be helping it BUT even if every single car in the world turns electric, it will NOT CHANGE A THING! Just one of those huge cargo ships use up as much fuel as twice the amount of cars in the world in a year and there are A LOT of those cargo ships. Realistically, all we can do is just prepare ourselves for the worst because we are not going to stop a thing.

  • @XTPimplik Im planning to move to a different planet and galaxy all together. It getting too crowded on earth anyways. I'll sell all my property and purchase bigger properties with huge tracks of land in a new planet. It's still cheap since there's no one is there yet then I'll start my own malls and banks there so I'll get rich fast. Anyone is welcome to come along. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE.

  • @MrHardrod2 are you on drugs?

  • @XTPimplik Dude lighten up. It's was a sarcastic joke.

  • If tourists only knew that this place was infested with radical, funadamentalist, militant muslims.

  • These videos only do the following:

    1. define an "obvious" problem/issue,

    2. uses a catchy phrase "turn solutions into actions", and

    3. then moves on to the next obvious problem/issue ...

It doesn't provide a solution. WHAT is the solution to the challenges the world is facing? Climate change is a global issue. HOW to deal with it?

Typical marketing journalism with no substance at all.

  • @sabashsabash SOLUTION: Death of half the earth's population. Less population, less pollution from people using cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, planes, consumption of food supply, consumption of water supply, and less consumption of energy. Less garbage to pollute the earth and less need for oil and gas. It will kill businesses and capitalism but hey, the planet will survive longer.

  • Let that place sink, good riddance. Maybe my children can go dive on the cities .

  • nonsense, these islands are there for over 5000 years, they will remain for another million years too

  • @finifen 5000 years ago, the world population was only 10,000 people and your forefathers (apes) did not use oil. No cars, no boats, no airplanes. There were no oil spills, and pre-historic man only hunted what they needed to survive unlike today where people fish until they deplete the ocean of fish, kill buffalo until it almost became extinct, mass produced chickens and turkeys for mass consumption and those birds are not healthy to eat. Yes, those islands were there but NOT FOR LONG anymore.

  • vey beautyful. greeting from germany

  • Stupid idiots still believing in global warming. The earth is in a cooling trend morons. Asshole gov'ts want more money and will lie to get it.

  • @mtank72 Your Christian aren't you?

  • @chocolatedonut31 No he's not. He's Mark. Christian is his brother. LOL. Actually we belong to a Hare Krishna cult. You wanna join? Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna....Krishna Krishna, Hare Rama, Hare Rama Casino Rama. LOL

  • @MrHardrod2 i meant is he christian as in the religion. And are you making fun of hundus?

  • @chocolatedonut31 NO Im not making fun of HUNDUS....WHAT? HUNDUS? WHAT THE HELL IS A HUNDUS? LOL. I was joking dude. Cheer up.

  • @MrHardrod2 bahahahaahahahaa omg you just made my day <3

  • I love this vid. hope that one day ill be there on vacation :D:D:D with my private jet

  • Maldives aren't alone. Vanuatu, Bangladesh, and even Malta face the same consequences. These places mean nothing? Then how about Brooklyn, London, Maui, or Cancun?

  • @Pikapal1 Don't forget Venice. It's sinking every year by 1/3 of an inch.

  • @MrHardrod2

Wow.. good job at replying to everyone's comments.

If you're being sarcastic, I really don't like it.

I've been to nations that are indeed 'sinking' into the oceans, and I've seen nations that are being forced to 'rise' from it also. You probably haven't seen it's effects from Canada, so you probably wouldn't know.

  • @Pikapal1 Dude, lighten up. The world is already in turmoil It is caused by World Leaders, movers and shakers. Don't start blaming cuz some islands are sinking because I have no power whatsoever in making decisions over drilling oil, increasing production of fossil fuel, selling more cars and other motorized vehicles that cause more harm than good to the Planet. I understand it's a sad situation but unless we all stop using oil, these are the effects of what is really going happen to the Planet.

  • @MrHardrod2

You're right. That's why I set a date for suicide.

  • @Pikapal1 Dude, Im from the Philippines but live in Canada. If you have knowledge about the magnetic fields of the North and South poles then you will know that underneath the ocean bed are valleys, mountains as steep as K2 or Mt. Everest. Water shifting due to global warming is because of the Ice caps melting and this also affects the Polarization of the magnetic fields. It was predicted that some islands will sink into the ocean but some places will be like the desert in the Middle east.

  • @MrHardrod2

Yup, it's called global climate change, not global warming. England will become drastically colder, and Siberia will get drastically warmer. It's already been snowing in Malibu and Miami in recent years. Not every place will sink, but some very cool places will, such as the Maldives which is already preparing for mass evacuations.

  • Maybe we could genetically engineer a coral that tends to build a gradually expanding and well reinforced ring around islands and that can grow to substantial depths, or at least calcify deep water anchors. Instead of dismantling old shipping vessels they might be scuttled to protect important islands. But ultimately places like this seem doomed to be ephemeral in geologic time. They're just too intrinsically precarious to begin with.

  • WERE FUCKED.

  • @youngflow890 ...YUP, I FUCKED EVERYONE UP. IT'S MY FAULT. LOL

  • ooh thats sad

  • @jaismmes yup, it's a sad story. it made me cry. boohoohoohooo.....waaaahhhhhh!!!!! why ???? why????? waaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!

  • climate change is fake, burn tyres

  • I love these videos & islands i just record my new tape/songs entitled Forgotten Islands

  • These tiny Islands are so damn cool

  • They should also do a video on 100 places to come, as a result of global warming!

  • we could use them as land fill sites . that would raise them up

  • Comment removed

  • @OPOCHKA: EXACTLY!! I agree with you.

Thats what I was thinking too .. this video only does the following:

    1. defines an "obvious" problem,

    2. uses a catchy phrase "turn solutions into actions", and

    3. then moves on to the next obvious problem ....

    Typical marketing journalism.

  • i wanna help soo much but i dont know what to do

  • there is nothing you can do. . . .GAME OVER

  • @L0VEgun GAME OVER?????? THAT'S IT. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I WANT A REFUND. WHERE'S THE MANAGER? I'M FILING A COMPLAINT. GRRRRRRRR

  • @sxcdanual suck some dick you nigger

  • ahahahaha. fuck off you racist cunt how does it feel to be hated by most of the world? you fucking prick i bet your a 19 year old white trash cunt living in a trailer having sex with your sister. ahahahahahahahahaha

  • @sxcdanual I only have one message to the whole world, GET FUCKED!!

  • wow your pretty smart. good job. i bet you have loads of friends and arent a pale little virgin fuck

  • @gatsu2005 I am.....Im fucking right now while Im typing this. hehehehe

  • @gatsu2005 WHAT????? LOL

  • @sxcdanual beautiful place, but 80 years? We might not be alive,,,so dont worry about it for now.

  • @joselinema and your children or grand children then?

  • @joselinema Everybody should just dump their garbage and solid waste matter underneath this island and it will keep it afloat for awhile. LOL

  • @sxcdanual, invent a way to pump CO2 deeply enough into the center of such islands and under such intense pressure that it causes the entire landmass above it to rise.

  • @sxcdanual Take plenty of showers and baths and water your plants and lawn a lot, drink lots of water, flush your toilet each and every time you pee and you have contributed by using up your maximum share of water in the planet. :) hehehehe

  • @sxcdanual turn the lights of when you are not in a room to name one simple example. Its really really easy, and use public transport when you can.

  • @sxcdanual drink more water

  • @Jirstuve Its true that, Its due to the green house effects today we are facing what we have done, day after day if we continuously carry on,without any of these warning, everyone will face, act before its too late.

  • @sxcdanual You can start small with not drinking bottled water. No plastic. Walking and cycling rather than using car.
