  • Has there been any recent reports of Momo? I've never heard any since the 70's. Just reports on the west and east coast.

  • Bill Whyte recorded it, but I cannot find it on here. I grew up in pike county and actually listened to this 45. I would love to share it with my kids if anyone has it!

  • Me and my cousin went in the woods one day after it rained the night before and there was a big human like footprint in the leaves with 4 toes the leaves would show footprints since they were wet.

  • wierd stuff happens in mo .

  • I heard that one of the dudes making this documentary was killed by Mo Mo's offspring who didn't appreciate the publicity.

  • born and raised here misssouri and i never heard of this

  • Has anyone allegedly had a MOMO sighting RECENTLY...someone who would allow me to actually INTERVIEW them? Please, no posers...and no one with whom I can't speak with personally, face-to-face! I'm especially interested in speaking to someone regarding some recent alleged sightings in the Kansas City area. I had one person contact me about their experience, but they won't let me interview them face-to-face.

  • @kevkraft I am the other person who was with him

  • @TheChris370 Be sure to give details about where and when and what exactly you saw. details are important. take you time...the smallest detail is important.

  • @TheChris370 Okay, now...I wanna believe you. You understand my skepticism, but don't mistake that for disbelief. Tell me your story, if you'd care to. I'm eager to hear what happened!

  • @TheChris370 Yeah. OFFICIALLY. But as you can see, there have been recent sightings that didn't make it into the paper of a police report. ;o)

  • i actually saw this creature it looked like bigfoot i was it with some friend on a private lake the person i was with said she remembers seein it when she was juz a kid i've been in the outdoors alot but never saw anythang like that before bigfoots or whatever they are are real i meen seein 1 meens there has to be more out there

  • I lived in Louisiana at the time Mo Mo was there. I was seven but remember it very well. Two of my uncles seen it, as well as an aunt and my grandma. Some of were out in the woods during the time when we smelled something horrible. We immediately left the area and heard a scream not long after. It's been said Mo Mo has a bad smell and a scream like a woman. We also lived next door to some people who made a cast of a huge foot print after sighting Mo Mo in their garden.

  • Anyway, I stumbled upon a few accounts of MOMO, which peaked my interest in the creature, especially since it has some notable differences from the Sasquatch-norm in its physical appearance. So, I've been trying to collect as many recent accounts as I can. If we end of making the movie, I'd love to interview you and other eyewitnesses for the dvd bonus features!

  • Were you able to estimate the size and dimensions fo the creature? What went through your mind when you saw it?

  • Has anyone ha any luck photographing MOMO?

  • Thanks for contacting me! How long ago was your sight. I read your account above. is there anything else you can remember about your encounter. And have there been any more recent sightings by you or anyone you've heard of?

  • When are some of the most recent Momo sightings? what's the lastest?

  • Most recent thing I know about comes from a pair of travelers I met in a laundrymat. Seems they were traveling around New Madrid when they nearly hit a large, manlike creature covered in red hair. Both men say they were nearly overpowerd by a foul smell. They claim the beast shook it's fists at them an d howled before running away. This was 1999.

  • Momo's no joke! The real deal is terrifying! A sasquatch in Missouri! Big migratory route, Solitary critter, the local miners knew and feared him.

  • Y'all want the truth of Momo? Fact: He's been seen for decades around the bootheel of the state. Fact: He stands about six to eight feet tall, has reddish hair, and can be identified by an indescriable odor. Fact; he exists! I've seen him. And one day, I might post my tale... If I can stand the nightmares...

  • I'd like to hear about your sighiing, if you'd be willing to share.

  • @kevkraft they are real i juz thank its bigfoot dunno what a momo is what i saw looked like a bigfoot it was outside of nevada mo on a private lake n reports of it bein spotted there for years dunno if its still there or not no tellin how long they live

  • @666turbobusa Can you describe the creature a bit more? How long ago did you see this thing and what did you think when you saw it?

  • Check out Bill Whyte's website, and his News article dated 5/4/09, as well as his May 2009 newsletter where he discusses the Momo legend and his involvement in the song. State, local, and national media, UFO fanatics, Bigfoot believers, and investigators swarmed Louisiana and the surrounding area. It was said that our radio station, KPCR, the only station in the area at the time, started the rumors about Momo and his antics after the original incident, but that is NOT true!

  • The legend (or faacts) about Momo is that a young girl who lived right on the edge of Louisiana, MO on 'Star Hill', while home with some other children (I think her siblings) spotted Momo's face looking in their kitchen window, which was about 8+ feet up off the ground level. She panicked and called her father. He came home and found Momo's footprints and hair outside near the location where she said she saw him. He contacted the local police and as a result, the story went national.

  • Ok, here are the facts! So far, 'TheBubbleKing' is the most accurate. I am Paul Salois' youngest daughter. I'm not sure who this 'livininmo70' is, but Paul Salois and Joe Lewis co-wrote the 'Momo the Missouri Monster' song while sitting in a restaurant overlooking the Mississippi River in Louisiana, MO. Bill Whyte, who was a DJ for my dad's radio station, KPCR, put the poem/lyrics to music and recorded it with his band. Joe Lewis was also a DJ and a salesperson at KPCR at the time.

  • my parents have a 45 from the 70s of the song .I even wrote to Bill Whyte on his web sight to see if they would make a Cd or put it on his sight but i guess he never did I haven't seen it there .We listend to that all the time lol things you remember

  • @warboop I recently downloaded the song off of Bill Whyte's website. It was there six months ago or so anyway. Check again.

  • @warboop there may be a small charge for the song if I remember correctly.

  • does anyone have a copy of this fabulous song???? let me know please!!!!! i LOVE it!!!! i co wrote it!!!!

  • i didnt want to tell anyone.....i though i would call the mt vernon paper!!!!!!

  • damnnnn momo was in my back yard....when it snowed i took pictures of his footprints!~!!!!!

  • I'd love to see your photos!

  • @livininmo70 Do you still have photos ofmthe prints? Can you email me a jpeg of them?

  • @kevkraft livininmo70 lied about co-writing the song, so I seriously doubt that he has pictures. Se my earlier posts.

  • I live in Miami Fl. In 1999 Me and my friend saw this creature cross the road at night. I almost hit it with my van. This thing moved with INCREDIBLE agility. It took one step to the side avoiding my van. Then looked me in the eyes as I passed it. For ten years I keep saying it looked like "cousin It" Recently I found this MOMO site. It is exactly what I saw. Except it was only around 5 ft. I cannot believe no one has captured or killed one of these creatures, knowing how man is.

  • I'd like to talk to you more about your sighting. Would that be possible?

  • Great job guys. I grew up in Louisiana and remember the song being played on the radio all the time. Looks like you had some fun.

  • who sings the mo mo song

  • not sure of who made that song, it was given to our group by a local radio station in Louisiana, Missouri. Someone from the town wrote it a long time ago.

  • dude do you have a copy of that song, i want it real bad!!

  • I also did a Momo documentary, and go the song. The song was written by two guys... lyrics by one, music by another. It's not RIAA or anything, and few credits for it can be found. I'd have to pull out the tape, but I think the main guy was named Bill Whyte... and for some reason I want to say the other guy was Paul Gaulois.
