Street fighter also has the better animated movies and series. I disagree. I enjoyed every game as long as it stayed with its roots and did not change the outlook upon each character as that is the most important factor of the series. I loved MK4 and gold. MKU and Trilogy are both my favorite games.

Ryu isn't 100% original. Gi outfit? 1984 Karate Champ's fighters. Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku (a.k.a. Hurricane Kick)? Ryuhi's spin kick from 1985 Shanghai Kid. Hadouken? Either the fireballs by Kenshiro (Hokuto no Ken), Son Goku (1984 Dragon Ball) or Ryuhi (Flying Dragon: Secret Scrolls). Shoryuken (a.k.a. Dragon Punch)? I guess Kenshiro's Hokuto Ujou Moushouha.
Liu Kang's the actual MK hero, but most people prefer the more unique secondary ninja characters.

That's your opinion, Mortal Kombat kept to their roots by making their fighters move similar to their original titles. Street Fighter kept its fights in a 2D field because it works and it's what people want from capcom. It all comes down to what you like in a game. This mortal kombat is not for me because it's not what mortal kombat is about, violent messed up fights with blood spewing everywhere. This game is not any of those, it's censored.

MK in 3D is not the best fighting game. Sure it's good but not the best. And it seems to me MKs combat isn't idk as fluid as Tekken's or StreetFighters. I could be wrong but i'm just saying.

Yet another jackoff who doesnt seee the flaw in a full 3d Street Fighter. the mortal kombat seires works in full 3D, yet it had flaws on it's primitive formats (MK4 and Gold, Anyone?) but when SF tried to go 3D, it failed. So they went back to the roots and The great SF4 was born. Have some valuable evidence before you bash a game you douche.
and another thing. the only reason why there is a MK vs DC because of Marvel vs Capcom. a little bit too late, though

I'm supproting the SF seires because-not a tool- i think the only way to be a good-no scratch that-APPROACHABLE fighting game is that it needs to be fluid. SF4 kep t's fluidness by going to it's roots. Any deadbrain autistic five year old can get perfect wins in mortal kombat because it's just not fluid as it was. If midway would make a mk game ala MK2, then it would be APPROACHABLE. so get facts first and FUCK OFF!!!

Sweat job of being a tool for a rip off game made by a Japanesse company with cheap revamped graphics and the same game play as over a decade ago. People are just jealous becuase Midway rules and no Jap games can touch the game play of MK since it went 3d. hell you have 2-3 different fighting style/which all have their own combos with you can switch durring the combos into another fighting style and keep combing, plus special moves and mutliple combo Fatalitys all which far surpass any game out.

I disagree. I enjoyed every game as long as it stayed with its roots and did not change the outlook upon each character as that is the most important factor of the series. I loved MK4 and gold. MKU and Trilogy are both my favorite games.

mk vs dc soled more copies then armogeddon, it wasnt a flop. infact, allot of people baught it cuz of dc and decided they liked mk better, witch got them more fans and in turn caused more the new fans to buy the more violent games in the mk series.
