  • I love these episodes where Matt has to be a detective.

  • so Matt doesn't mind when his friends hit on his woman. LOL

  • Eddie Munster .............

  • 19:20-Mountains in Kansas?

  • I grew up in a small town. The doctor's office was upstairs. I don;t remember what business was below it, but we went up to the doctor's office by stairs just like these.

  • figures the stache man is the bad guy...Most men who sport a stache are of very questionable character...The stache must be eliminated to eradicate the moral filth of this world.

  • Good question as to why the office was upstairs. Maybe when the set was designed with the salon, hotel, general store, stables, sheriff office on the ground floor, they didnt have any more room on the set so up stairs it went. Wonder if any of thoes folks are still alive that worked on the show that could answer the question of docs office.

  • @surryhouse the only two left of any of the main characters are from mid to later seasons, being Burt Reynolds and Buck Taylor..As I'm sure you know, Sadly James Arness passed away this past spring. We will miss him always!

  • Why did he have his office upstairs?

  • it is funny watching a man like matt who is almost 7 feet tall using a shovel that is 3 feet long to dig a grave 45:10

  • I also wondered why you'd locate a doctor's office up a flight of narrow steps (the only such business in town aside from the 2d floors of hotel and saloon). Impractical, to put it mildly.

  • @kaewonf8 dang i thought i was the only one that was thinking about 200 episodes later why his office is way up there lol

  • Good mystery episode!

  • "You like your work, don't you Marshal." "I do my work." Great stuff.

  • Isn't that little boy Butch from the TV show the Munsters

  • @swivelgate Yep!

  • Doc does a lot of medical work for free, or for trade, so he can't afford a pricey ground floor office. Also, I had a feeling about Judd too.

  • I'm with Rene, I had a feeling too that he wasn't dead. And good point- why is the doc on the 2nd floor LOL. I guess they want you to hobble ;)

  • I had a feeling, but wasn't sure until Judd reappeared. I also kept wondering why Doc Adams office is way up there on the 2nd floor. I'm sure it was pretty hard to carry up an injured person.

  • @reneecalling its also mean to make Milburn Stone walk up and down those stairs all the time.

  • A GOOD ONE

    thanx
