  • At this time I am rebuilding my layout. What is the better system to use, the Legacy command system or MTH DSC system. thanks

  • MTH BELLS are ALL THE SAME GENERIC! WHAT KINDOF a CHUFF IS THAT!!! SOUNDS LIKE A SICK AIR COMPRESSOR Sure makes me appreciate Lionels sound even MORE !!!!

  • @NICKEVJOE911 yep

  • @NICKEVJOE911 The chuff sound of Lionel trains sounds like a tin can.I know I have several legacy locos. Having just returned from a trip as guest fireman on restored steam loco, the MTH sound are far more authentic and with DCS you can tailor your sound to fit yourself. A much better true digital system not haring to rely on radio signals. .

  • What is the transformer suppling the power?

  • The MTH sound sets are the same for many Steam locomotives.

  • not really the chuff sounds usually the same but the whistles vary.

  • Some of the whistles sound close up and others sound distant.

  • did you do that without the legacy, if so how?

  • I would be interested to know summary details about how you hooked up both systems for the single layout shown.

  • you should finish the layout

  • what diameter curve track is on the outside loop?

  • I LOVE YOUR AUCTIONS ON EBAY

  • Nice job!!!
