  • Musique qui me fascine depuis des années!!

  • I love it.... from tijuana Mexico...

  • should be referring to Spain santa fe not santa fe mejico, hey understand the Spanish name so beautiful in these cities that they were stolen stolen give me back my territory merda us gay people

  • This music makes me think of only one person!

  • I would love to play the guitar like this.. he plays the music from his soul..

  • This music of a very special place in my heart.

  • Como amo esta canción.

  • My family used to play Ottmar Liebert during my birthday parties outside.

Of all his songs, this is the most memorable.

    So nostalgic.

    So good.

  • I heard this song for the first time because Raul Di Blasio an argentinian pianist very famous in my country made a cover of this song in piano and it sounds cool both versions, I know the credits belong to Ottmart liebert and it's a cool song

  • wouldn't you know - a german guy writes a song about santa fe with so much grace and passion...i lived in santa fe for six months in 1981 when i was 20 and lost...my brother lived there for 20 years - i visited him several times before i tried the place out - hitchhiked there once from new jersey-the place spooked me - so quiet - you really have to know yourself if you're an outsider moving in - i left - go back to put flower on my brother's grave at a church on agua fria -- thanks ottmar -

  • @magnusdude61 I grew up north of Santa Fe in the Jemez mountains. Talk about quiet, windswept and spooky!, it was stunningly beautiful and tended to lay bare your soul. You were surrounded by a tapestry of mountains, cliffs and canyons. I am marked forever by the "Land of Enchantment", as one of her roving sons and will return someday to stay. For now I'm making money on the east coast and living in Virginia, a beautiful place of it's own, but it doesn't own me like New Mexico does.

  • @TheEldoradoKid - I can dig that. New Mexico is the most spiritual place to which I have traveled so far in this world. I spent my time growing up in the S.W. United States and I look forward to the day when my kids are in college so my GF and I can take our RV to Northern N.M. and park it for long stretches at a time.... :)

  • wouldn't you know - a german guy writes a song about santa fe and does it with so much stye and passion and grace --- i lived in santa fe for six months in 1981 -- mybrother lived there for twenty years and i vistied him there three times before trying the place out in 81 -- the place kind of spooked me -- it's so quiet you have to really know yourself and be at peace--apparently ottmar

  • I just love this song, I could hear it over and over again and never would be tired of it . It brings memories back. Reminds me of the warmth, friendliness and happiness with the nicest people in the world. This music stays in my heart and dreams forever.

  • ARTISTICHICANA, lILLIAN says she loves this Song its mucho Bueno, and Its also Very Very Nice, One of my favorites of Ottmar Lieberts also... I miss New Mexico , from Gardnerville Nevada, I love NM...always Will...

  • very nice song, reminds me of the sea far away from noise and hecticness. I love the refrain, particularly the 3rd refrain when the melody goes up.

  • Last weekend finally I went to see him play at Austin Tx, the concert was great. I'll never forget that night

  • This song is the soundtrack of my life. I closed my eyes and hear the ocean and feel the breeze...

  • Heard it 18 years ago and it still sounds like it was mad yesterday.

    Wonderful.

  • despues de tantos anos y todavia sigues despertando en mi todas aquellas emosiones inexplicables, cuanto te admiro Ottmar!!

  • Awesome !

  • Nice photos to go along with great music. I love this area of the country.

  • The Brotha is Bad Ass....

  • This is a really cool song, it had been a lot of time since I had heard it.

  • It's incredible watching him perform, but after seeing him live in concert, you can't ignore how the rest of his band is also great. Go check out one of his concert, and you'll see what I mean. What also surprised me is that after the concert, he came out for an autograph session. Thanks, Ottmar.

  • Best Liebert song ever.

  • dont look at the feet...hear the music

  • its same that after the rain?

  • Have been a fan of Ottmar's for several years. It's funny the name of this song. There a drug store on the square in Sante Fe selling his music on CD under the title of Flamingo Guitar. In other words these crooks are pirating his music.

  • I heard about Ottmar thru a friend a few years ago and I purchased some of his music. What a nice talent and this is one of my favorite song's of his. He is different, unique and talented.

  • J `adore......

  • of all his song, i like this the most

  • Shoes....somebody needs to donate shoes to this man!! LOL

I don't think I've ever seen a video with him in shoes.

  • @haneef87 esta mus e muito boa

  • @haneef87 me too!!!!!!! it's so ... perfect!!! makes you feel complete!

  • qe cancion tan mas hermosaa

  • This song is refered to Santa Fe, Argentina the song was first intruduced by Argentinian Pianist Raul Di Blasio.

  • you are right, it was a silly mistake!

  • Santa Fe New Mexico

  • I was surprised to see a pic in the video of my city Santa Fe, Argentina.

  • I noticed that too. It does not rain that much in Santa Fe, NM. Haha.

  • Santa Fe is the finest rift ever in the accoustic genre. And Ottmar is a fine guitar composer. But I once approached him with lyrics. And he came across as a snob who thinks that intrumentals are above popular music. But he is so wrong.

  • hi, i'm one of his true fan....(kind of)!...i never thought that he's 'snob'.....forgive me for asking.....what did he actually 'did' to ya? hope u don' t mind me asking!

  • @ eLAyDude: Instrumentals like that ARE musically above popular music.

"most people listen to Pop music" - that doesn't make it any better; Sadly, many people listen to (musical) "shit" - Trance, Techno, Pop etc.

But you always have to remember what you want to achieve with your music. People like Ottmar want to write nice music, which has aesthetic value. Pop music is made for the masses; it doesn't need much aesthetic value.

  • simply incredible guitarist, what more to say..

  • es lo maximo que gran musica la que hace este guitarrista el junto con roberto perera los mas grandes musicos del planeta wooow lo maximo estoy extaciado

  • This is the song that got me hooked on Ottmar! Just so wonderful, so peaceful, and romantic.

  • me my sister and my mom love this song it is so peaceful! :)

  • e molto bello complimenti

  • His music is magical and entertaining, I can listen to him all day!

Santa Fe.

  • Ottmar Liebert, es sencillamente maravilloso!!

    Me encanta su música.

  • wow i miss santa fe..too bad a 2 bedroom tiny condo costs 250k..oh well thank god for the poop you tube

  • Absolutely amazing! I saw him open for Santana back in 96' he still blows me away! His phrasing is great but the way he uses modal mixture really makes me miss home(Santa Fe, NM).

  • This song is just great! 5/5. try listening to the Raul di Blasio version, too. they're both really good.

  • I LOVE his music...

    own 5 of his Cd's ;)

  • derumbero and borntorun83......you are both morons!!!!!!!!!stick to the paint by numbers and leave the real artists alone!!!!!

  • i can see you dont tolerate others point of view, ottmar is awsome in his own right.and your expression speaks for itself

  • Bikram yoga loves him! lock the knee!

  • he's on his own, music concept and playing style. Not fair to comment or compare to the other guitarist. I enjoyed his music, other than that it's light feeling. Beautiful on its own.

  • paco has his way of expressing

    and so does ottmar

  • you dont make sense,if he is boring after two minutes why would you pay to go see him and then get boreded.i personally love his music

  • you dont make sense,if he is boring after two minutes why would you pay to go see him and then get boreded.i personally love his music

  • Erm... just read above: the sense is... i have seen a he was about to come in Milan. I become curious about him, i have then used youtube to know something more about this artist. Well, i don't like it, so i don't go to the concert.
