@TastefullyMad No, he wrote part of that one. (He said it was only a couple of lines.) He appeared in a quick cameo in the "Up Your Pavement" bit in episode 42 as Dr. Emile Koning, dressed in green surgical scrubs. In the first scene of "Mr.Neutron" in episode 44, he was one of the pepperpots bringing missiles out to the scrap wagon.
He also co-wrote a bit on the "Holy Grail" soundtrack called "Interview — Director Carl French."
I doesn't matter what mood I'm in; I could be in the depths of despair, but when I see Eric, half brigadier, half hairy ballerina, I can't hold back the laughter. ERIC IDLE RULES!
the opera animation is lol lol lol a lot. the slow cannon is brilliant...this season is hit and miss, the hits are fantastic the misses are the best bbc 3 can offer now

the sketch with the general in a tutu dictacting a letter to graham chapman as a priest, a top sketch which is overshadowed by the average silly walks. come see my comedy show SCREAMARAMA THE HORROR OF NORWICH in camden at the ectectera theatre every monday in may at 9.30pm

The "Priest" sketch is actually Michael Palin's personal favorite Monty Python sketch ever, which makes me love it to bits. :)

I'd not seen it before now, and I absolutely love it, too!

@groundlings123 - I love the idea that this is Palin's favorite sketch. Where did you hear/read this please, so I can confirm it? XDD

I don't this Silly Walks is average, and the pirest sketch was really funny, but not the BEST.
