I have a problem with anyone who pretends to know who is going to hell and who isn't. Condemning people to hell is God's job. Especially unChristian-like are those who throw a broad blanket of condemnation over an entire religious group. "You're Mormon? Then you're going to hell. JW? You're going to hell also. etc, etc." That is not right, and definitely not Biblical.
Missionaries are taught not to Bible bash or be contentious. They did the right thing. They just didn't want to argue. They just wanted to share their message, not contend over scriptures. Because they refused to contend doctrine doesn't mean they can't or that you are right and they are wrong.
