  • Yes, that's Michael McDonald in the background - another Top 40 single on backing vocals for him. This song is so different from anything Simmons-led Doobies did, and so different from the solo album's other material, that I guess that's the only reason this didn't nuke the charts harder. What a great rhythm, and a blistering guitar solo. Maybe a little too perfect?
