Your label of cushitic or hamitic is outdated and shouldnt be used it explains nothing of the similairities between u and the Beja there language is not cushitic it is branched off by itself with Berber and Egyptian and cushitic is only used for language. I would be better off not using these terms to denote any people wether somalian or Beja. Cushitic,Hamitic,Semetic are words used by europeans to explain the different languages within the family groups of africa
