    grupokontra, what do you mean?

  • it s a good song thank you i like it

oumou sangare it a good singer

  • movements...

    voice....

    music...

    beautiful

    peace

    seatreasure

  • can anyone tell me what that little bowed instrument is called that he is playing?

  • Its a Kora

  • It's called an Njarka.

  • What is she say?

  • Some NEVER utter a sound or a word

    Again in their lives

    Some were beaten

    Some, raped throughout the long

    Treacherous voyage

    Some lost their virginity

    Some, more than that

    Lost their un-born babies

    Finally their

    SOULS.

  • SLAVERY DAYS:

    When they were taken away

Sweating n Shivering in ship basement

    Stuffed like sardines

The women were singing such sorrowful

    Soulful songs like Oumou

    Wailing like d Wailers

    Some were pregnant

    Some were menstrating

    Some just wet themselves

  • Her first record I bought was in the early 90's and she was wearing a big bright gown on the cover and she took my breath away but when I played the record, my heart begins to tremble, then melted after the last track. I love her like I love Oprah Winfrey. Especially when they both look curvier and sassy. That's how God created both of them to be. Their faces look too tired n sick when they lose too much weight. Is not about age issue: their is something good n youthfulness in moderate fat.

  • I like her 90's curvier n sexier look than this video. She look too magestic n flamboyant those days because she got a jolly round face n tend to wear those nicely sown big n flowing brightly-coloured Malian gown that all turn all those bustier African woman with angelic singing voice into powerful Queens who rule kingdoms.

  • West African women, voluptuous, free-spririted, wicked bum, natural sexy (collagen-free)pouting lips to kiss all night n with their heavy bouncy (non-silicon) breasts to suck all night long just like Oumou.

  • good music

  • wah wah

  • Oh me beautiful Nubian Princess

    goddess of the Nile

    Mesmerising, entertaining n captivating

Showcasing the center of the universe

    The cradle of creation

    What a goegoeous free-spirited soul

Gliding on her own musical mat

    Supported by original

    African instruments n soulful ridims

    long live Princess Oumou

  • Nile? But Oumou is from West Africa.. Anyway everything else you said is true :)

  • Anak1 u know, the beautiful Nile runs the whole lenght of the continent like your spinal column and your beautiful body.

North, South, East or West Africa = Africa.

Slim light-skin goegeous Egyptian women and sexy curvascious big butty West African women are beautiful African princesses.

I wish I can marry women from all the African states and give them ALL them pretty women beautiful kids. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That indeed is true kululu0000! West, East, South, North.. all is Africa: our Mother and Heart!

And true again, sistas back home truly are the REAL deal!!! Don't worry bro, I'm 110% there with you in thought now (including the Pan-African "endeavour" lol)! Long live our Motherland, its music, culture and people!

So u better recognise that MY North African women are light-skinned slim sparkling beauties like the zebra; East African women, tall n brown willowy supermodels of Africa; South African women, Energetic, strongly-built, bustier with a sassy n melachonlic singing voice to make u cry;

  • Oumou is one of my favourite singers. I hope she will once perform in my country.

@ TruDzire: her songs usually have a political/feminist content, while she sometimes sings love songs and traditional songs from her country as well.
