I like the lakes...
I like swimming in lakes..
infact I like swimming in anything
especially the sea.
I can do several lengths in the pool
but not in the sea
'cos of the tide and stuff.

I live in North Wales - it's quite similar here but I prefer The Lakes

@tubedougz I have found "the Lakes" to be very wet. The water is also very murky. I fell in it once and got very wet. Yes it was wet, very wet.

I was in this part of the country for the first two weeks in September. The Lake District is up there with Cornwall as my favourite parts of England.
