are very wet indeed my dreams of mountains and streams

and green green valleys in the silent mists

I like the lakes...

I like swimming in lakes..

infact I like swimming in anything

especially the sea.

I can do several lengths in the pool

but not in the sea

'cos of the tide and stuff.

I'm a sili bwgar ...oh yes oh yes

Lots and lots of really happy memories of The Lakes.

I live in North Wales - it's quite similar here but I prefer The Lakes

@tubedougz I have found "the Lakes" to be very wet. The water is also very murky. I fell in it once and got very wet. Yes it was wet, very wet.

@bwgarlwg - LET IT BE WRITTEN - for there to be no rain in 't'Lakes, there would be a place devoid of Lakes and the place would be 'of the Lord'' and shalt't be named the 'Hole District'.

Holes aren't allowed under European Health & Safety Directive: Paragraph 8.8 (Page 1445) - "Pothholes & Cracks"

I was in this part of the country for the first two weeks in September. The Lake District is up there with Cornwall as my favourite parts of England.
