If you notice you're speeding then you'll (hopefully) slow down. Doing 3km/h over the speed limit lands you a $200 fine and 3 points? No it doesn't, that's ridiculous ... you wouldn't get charged for that in any country.

Warnings for me are so much more effective i got pulled over doing 12 over in my city on my way to work and the cops was cool about it got it over quick just a warning i was on my way and made it to work on time. Got another ticket driving 13 over on the freeway late one night toward the end of a long trip home the guy was not understanding that i was tired and a dick about it now i don't even watch my speed at all threw there just as an f u. Positive cops get positive results in my book.

@tronclay Speed limit was 75 i was going 78 had been driving all day didn’t see the speed limit sign on the side of the road that said 65 because of a town coming up a ways down the road. The cop was apparently not to far from the sign i didn’t see because when he got to my car he asked if i had seen the sign. There was no one on the road but me the only person i could have hurt was me and i was originally doing the speed limit. A warning would have been fine but he gave me a ticket anyway.

I have been riding for 6 years and been pulled over 3 times on the bike and was speeding a bit everytime but have been let off with warnings because I stopped and treated them with respect and admitted I was speeding.
