This is a very common thing, the exhibition fights, you see them in the biggest stadiums in bangkok and in the small temples all around thailand where they fight on weekends, this is only for show and is very well coreographed, like in this case.

Its not fake, but its just for show.. the punches and kicks are very real but not that final knockout power put into it.

GUYS! yes its fake but like wrestlers from wwe or other shows you can see those kick and punches that their throwing actually landed with force but not to destroy opponent. On the other end of the spectrum wrestling has been an Olympic sport for ages and that is the REAL DEAL. Real fights are at real venues in Thailand: MBK Fight Nights, Ko Samui, Lumpini Stadium. Those are where real fights r at. Not at a Reggae bar like this one is. Just read any lonely planet book on Thailand or google: "WWF Style Muay Thai"

One thing you need to know is that there are REAL matches and FAKE matches. The real matches are organized events. The Fake matches are like the cinema.
