  • crappy cam -.-

  • DJWILL watch my swag remix and subscribe fist pump friday

  • what should I use to create my own beats and sounds? PLEASE AN ANSWER!!!!!!!

  • Little tip for Technics users.... When you're happy that you've almost matched tempo, I find it's best to have the incoming record slightly slower, and then you can hold a finger on the 33rpm button and tap the 45 rpm button. This has the effect of 'jolting' the track ever so slightly forward, so you don't have to make any clumsy corrections on the platter and leaves your other hand free to fine tune with the pitch control.........works really well on most genres!

  • go to mrbigbasta kanal is the best

  • go to mrbigbasta

  • @NOMINAMIA I don't understand? Is the SYNC button too small, which is making it difficult to beatmatch or something? Haha. I'm not into vinyl mate, I pretty much only use CDJ 2000's.

  • Press 13 over and over again it sounds like hes saying your a retard

  • 9 to bob his head

  • Press 2 over and over again. He is shooting

  • @Spectra1Beats I'm talking about Virtual DJ, just Virtual DJ. Nothing else connected, just Virtual DJ and it's insanely lazy SYNC button that makes people believe being a DJ is just hitting the SYNC button and move a crossfader ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for this video, probably the simplest yet most informative tutorial. Covers all aspects of beat matching. Two thumbs up.

  • ok so i guess my main question is...in order to mix nd scratch with the music from my computer...what kind of turntables and equipment would i need

  • @TheDaddyrob3 u can never go wrong with a pair of technics 1200's or 1210's, i believe they are used in this vid too

  • @TheDaddyrob3 it really doesn't matter. If you use serato or traktor, they should come with an external sound card that will plug into your mixer. Some mixers like rane ttm 57's don't need the external sound cards though. If you are on a budget, a pair of used technics will go for about 600-800$. As far as mixers go, for hip hop, having a mixer with a strong crossfader is a must (you're going to want to learn how to scratch). I would recommend looking into vestax pmc 05's, 06's, or 07's

  • hey...i just bought a Numark TTUSB turntable...it is said that this is not a turntable that can be used for djing...is there any truth in this?

  • @TheDaddyrob3 No shit, that turntable is a piece of shit.

  • if only it was hq

  • in italian "colione " sound like "dickhead" or something like this.....lol

  • this was actually really helpful thanks dj colione!

  • the police, ambulance, and firetruck sirens synced up nicely with this, now the question is, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON OUTSIDE?

  • it is not the hardest thing to learn, but for expert village.... EEEHHHH i bet it hard for em

  • @DeleteDj It is the fundamentals u dumbass u retard, it is hard for begginers because they need to train their ears.

  • MAKE;,;SICK.``BEATS'.:ONLINE:',,,'

  • when beat matching...when starting my 8 count...is my first sound going to be absolutely anything such as a bell, horn, etc...or somthing specific like the base or drum...it is hard for me to explain but please help.

  • @TheDaddyrob3 Your first sound is supposed to be the bass drum, during the start

  • Anyone know how much cost a new one mixer like this?

  • Schaut Doch mal auf unsere HomePage vorbei PureSoundRadio.de

  • Sometimes expert village has some great videos like this one. Other tutorials are just... terrible.

  • "You don't want ppl singing over eachother its too confusing"

No shit. sounds bad too. lol i'ma smart ass/

  • Thumbs up if u started getting bored at 2:00

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOO Noooooooo expert village

  • Beat matching comes natural to the ear after a while. just practice and it will become clear.

  • I have madee 3 electro, house, and dirty dutch mixes in the past 4 dayss! All thosee mixes are on my pagee, drop on by and check it out! :D

  • I don't have a problem with the ads prior to the videos because Youtube's hosting costs must be astronomical, but the stupid ad-bar at the bottom drives me insane, Nobody even clicks through those or pays attention they just minimize them.

  • Oh, one question, what if i dont mix no instrumental? whats up with the pitch then, i really cant fuck with the MCs verses and voice so how's it supposed to be? Tanks

  • This is so hard, im beginner so all these buttons and english terms just fµck me up real good lol.

  • Is it worth spending 600 euro on good cdj equipment with speakers n amp, and how long would it take to be able to dj clubs or parties?

  • @SeanReyDJ I really dont know why people use CDJs, i personally like Midi Controllers, they are much cheaper and im my mind do much more, just get a Traktor Kontrol s4 + a decent laptop, and if you know people just say you will do there party for free untill people like you enough then ask for payment

  • even bigger beginner question. when you are mixing two songs do you only mix one song that has lyrics and the other song is an instrumental song? also how do you remix it so that the lyrics from one song are on the beats from another?

  • sound like a stupid question, but im a beginner, do they have to be the same bpm to mixthem together?

  • I left my wallet in El Segundo

  • Lol push 5 over and over. He smokes a joint.

  • @AdrienChaos haha:)

  • @AdrienChaos lmao

  • I am looking for a Dj for couple of jobs! Write me if fancy for challenge!

  • hallo

  • @idiuinuendum troll. We're done here.

  • @idiuinuendum Damn, I saw this same exact shit comment on three of their videos, you got problems man.

  • jay-z!!!

    woot woot!!!!

    HOVA ftw!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is the fundamentals of dj-ing, nowadays everybody uses programs..

  • like the way you teach dude

  • Just remember to adjust the instrumental track and try to keep the track with vocals in the right time...or you will end up with a squeeky mc or a slow rapper...when you adjust the pitch on the intrumental track it always sounds better then speeding up or slowing down your favorite mc's voice...

  • NOW I GET IT... Thnx Bro, I was looking for that kind of Explenation :D

  • im tired of dj nobody and mc new ni&&@! this is hip hop and we wont stop till we get the faggots off the block... peace to the gods premier, rockstedy- (xmen), honda , jam j u already know

  • im tired of dj nobody and mc new ni&&@! this is hip hop and we wont stop till we get the faggots off the block

  • jay-z ???? hahahahaha WHAT THE FUCK ?? ! is jay-z "hip hop" ??? fuck that ! this isn't hip hop.... REAL hip hop is something like boot camp clik, mobb deep, gang starr, cypress hill, but certainly NOT jay z.. jesus christ

  • @trifo14 your an idiot. This i just hiphop you don't like.

  • Instead of all that trouble, use a adj software on a computer that will automatically do all that for u

  • the problem with touching the record is that you are essentially re-cueing the record every time instead of immediately finding the correct pitch, and it leads to longer set-up times and ultimately less involved mixing capabilities. with the pitch-control only method practiced, one can throw in any record straight into the mix with maybe one second advance listening.

  • vinyl touching and tapping is such a bad habit that should not be taught. The speed adjustment should be entirely with the pitch control. i.e. if the song is too fast, push the pitch control very slow to let the other beat catch up, then raise the pitch control slightly. repeat over and over until correct pitch is reached (should take about a second to do with practice).

  • I THINK most DJ's are overrated.....WAY OVERRATED....they just press play, now there are some that actually mix but its pretty crappy mixing...soo yeah most are so useless and dumb.

  • @daft9punk dj ravine isnt that way

  • @daft9punk no . Its just this guy that sucks at Dj'ing . Hes just matching 2 little songs . Real dj's Do the drops and stuff like that .

  • Uhh Those songs don't go together.

  • if u wnt to no how to get the beats of you tube message me and i will tell you how to do it takes 2 minutes acually

  • wow. counting two bars at a time. His brief terrible description is just going to leave people more confused. A phrase is generally 4 or 8 measures, consisting of 4 beats each in common time.

  • Come peep my vid.. Sessions Vol.1

  • corleon? are you in the mafia?

  • asian+turntables= EPIC :)

  • puto freak

  • So if beat matching is the hardest thing in DJing....

    Virtual DJ Sync button FTW

  • @glempa5 I use the sync button, but I feel guilty like an anorexic girl swallowing 10 tons of ice cream.

  • @glempa5 where's the sync button on a vinyl reader?

  • @gartxiaitor HAHAAHHAAAA best comment here yesss

    fuck syncing !

  • @glempa5

    lol jokess XD

well.. that was a joke right :|... lol

  • @glempa5 And that is exactly why you will never make it as a DJ if you use that . :) Any decent DJ will straight away hear if you didnt beatmatch but used the SYnc button

  • @glempa5 yeah, next thing you gonna do is find a guitar that plays itself or bitch that fuck itself so you dont have to do shit

  • @glempa5

    its never 100%

  • @glempa5 vdj is for nubs LOL and every dj program almost has sync vdj sounds crap with sound cards u got to buy twice a good sound card just to make it sound as good as traktor :)

  • @glempa5 using the sync button, is

for fake dj's the pro's beatmatch with there ears.

  • @glempa5 Such a good comment haha!

  • @glempa5 not always

  • @glempa5 wankers use virtual dj. learn to mix.

  • @willricketts yeah but virtual dj is the first step of trying to learn it...

  • @glempa5 Virtual DJ isn't DJ'ing.

  • @juwara <---- he knows

  • @juwara But it cartianly saves your life when someone decides to fry your equipment

  • @ilovfob True, however, that doesn't change my point ;p

  • @juwara

I use virtual dj with my cdj-400's all the time ... on party's .. everywhere

  • @pkingaround666 You probably didn't understand what I was trying to say. I was talking about just Virtual DJ itself and the SYNC button, connecting a real CD player and beatmatching yourself (with Virtual DJ connected) is fine.

  • @juwara why not? Its a program and it works. Sure its free and really simple, but why isnt it DJing?

  • @athomas313 Because all you do is hit a SYNC button to match the beat, while this is the most important task for the DJ. Go to the majority of clubs on the world, you'll find a CDJ 1000 mk2/mk3 or CDJ 2000 and a DJM 800 mixer. If you're used to the SYNC button in Virtual DJ (or any midi controller connected to Virtual DJ's SYNC button), you'll fail in those clubs. Not trying to put you or anyone down, it's just the truth.

  • @juwara Ohhhh ok i see. No man trust me im savin up to get traktor scratch. I hate VDJ. it came with my numark mixdeck. Its tooooooooo simple (Its like using microsoft paint instead of photoshop) I was just wondering. P.s. thank you for answering in a mature way. real talk.

  • @athomas313 Hehehe, much much much love to Traktor Scratch <3 Glad to see you understand (:

  • @juwara djing is creating and mixng music. asshole.

  • @AndVarg no just dont use it

  • @AndVarg and virtual dj is not that, vdj is a program mixing music

  • @AndVarg Haha, asshole? Do everyone a favor, keep the comment section for 15-year and older.

  • @juwara Feel tough DickMunchingGypsy? x)
