  • Does anyone know how difficult it is to get accepted into this program? I've heard it's competitive to get in but that's a little broad. Does anyone know how many people apply to the program and how many get accepted? thanks.

  • Thanks for the question! Admission into the PGA Golf Management Specialization is competitive. Students must first be accepted to the University and then complete a separate PGA application and submit verification of a handicap of eight or less along with a letter of recommendation from a PGA member. The program may accept up to 100 students per year and the total number in the program is limited to 300. For more information, call 843-349-2680.

  • How Many People Applied Last year?

  • Hi and thanks for the question! For Fall 2009, the University received approximately 8,700 applications for the freshman class and approximately 1,700 applications from transfers. If you are inquiring specifically about the PGA Golf Management Specialization, the program may accept and bring in up to 100 students per year. For more information, please call their office at 843-349-2680.
