It must be really difficult to play a character who may or may not have been lying (although in all likelyhood she was). How do you portray what the character is thinking?

I don't get it, it seems like stuff is missed out between parts.
Like how the family was shot and then an older "Anastasia" was taken to hospital for jumping of a bridge... I mean... what the hell?
Is it just a confusing movie, or is stuff missing?

Actually she didn't she visited her in hospital, said 'she's too short to be Tatiana' (was confused about who she was claiming to be) and left. That was the last of it. From then on she decalred her a fraud.

What happened differently in real-life than in the TV movie is that Baroness Sophie 'recognized' Anna as Anastasia; it was Grand Duchess Olga Alexandroevna who was the first to denounce her as a fraud.
