I doubt in, In England at least even Muslim, and Judaic wedding rites have to be redone in a registry office of Church before they are legal, so it is highly unlikely that hand fasting rites will be recognised legally.

Handfastings aren't legal forms of marriage here in England, but handfasting is a certified form of marriage in Scotland

Yes since Wicca is considered a religion in America. This was done by the Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca which is recognized by the United States government. So yes this was a legal marriage.

I mean, it's only, y'know, the tradition started by his family. I like my religions concept of atleast commiting to a marriage for atleast 1 year before they can be devorsed then after that year if they still want to be together they can get a legal marriage wich i find as a good way to stop people from making stupid mistakes of marriage before knowing what its like.
