  • the soundtrack of alien 3 is the best. perfect in every way.

  • I personally forbid myself from watching Resurrection. I'm satisfied with the way Alien 3 ended.

  • @StateMachine92 Same here. It's a perfect trilogy! Resurrection is more like a spin-off. For me it will always end with A3. It's the dark ending the series deserves.

Although I will gladly accept Prometheus.

  • Alien 3 hugely underrated movie, due to production difficulties it didnt go as high as the previous ones but the actors were so good that they stole the show of the alien.

  • Regardless whether you love or hate this film - It has the best soundtrack... It absolutely batters Aliens into the ground in this department...

  • within each death no matter how small theres always a new life , a new beginning Amen

  • "Why? Why the innocent, punished? Why the sacrifice? Why the pain? There aren't any promises. Nothing certain. Only that some get called, others saved. She won't ever know of the hardship and grief of those of us left behind. We commit these bodies to the void with a glad heart. For within each seed, there is a promise of a flower, and within each death, no matter how small, there is always a new life. A new beginning."

  • I for one loved this movie. Saw it in the theaters, own it on DVD. If you watch the Assembly cut, you'll see how much this movie was bastardized. It COULD have been a much better film, had it not been edited like crazy in the final cut.

  • @falariem I Agree, the assembly cut should have been what we saw the first time around. Its one of the reason I love the dvd's containig two cuts and we see what could have been. I love the use of this piece by the way in the assembly cut in the aftermath of the fire corridor scene, made it much mroe somber.

Also love how it was used when describing Vincent Ward's original vision of a wooden planet which would have been just as intersting.

I love all the alien films equally.

  • " Ashes to ashes, dust to dust..."

  • @julioermejo "....they have been released from all darkness and pain..."

  • I love the Alien Movies so...i grew up with this Movies, even though i watched them thousands of times they still fascinate me...love the Music, especially when ripley jumps into the Fire.epic epic EPIC!!!!

  • most underrated of all time that music is powerful tragic - the movie is pure art.

  • Hicks should've been in this...tragic how they treated such great character after his survival in Aliens

  • @apollonas101 I think his death made the movie more believable. Let's face it, even good men like Hicks cannot live forever. I know it's not action pact with marines, but I just love everything about Alien 3, the religious/cult setting, the desperation, Ripleys sadness after losing Newt and discovering she has an alien Queen inside her, and let's not forget Dillon's great speech at the funeral. I eventually got rid of Alien 1 2 and 4, but i kept this movie cause it's a masterpiece.

  • With a friend, I crossed Nevada in 2007. We drove the entire night through the "extraterrestrial highway" (Hwy 375). The sky was absolutely dark and full of stars. We were playing this soundtrack. It was memorable.

  • I'M NOT A DROID!

  • @Uselink Not bad for a human.

  • underrated movie, underrated score

  • Does anyone know, or know where I can find, the lyrics to the first part of this?

  • i believe the music composer of alien 5 will be EllioT

  • the first movie was knowing the new fear

the second was conquering that fear

the third was conquering fear of death

and the fourth was becoming that fear

  • @armageddontri7 Damn, very true. Hadn't looked at it like that. What would the fifth be?

  • @moondog202001 Apparently it is a prequel, and Ridley Scott is going to direct it, also I've heard there will be 2 prequels, one being about the origin of the Xenomorphs. Also I've heard that the alien race that was found (not xenomorphs) on the ship in the original film, shall be in it a little more, and it will be shot in 3D :)

  • @JoeySingsStuff659 The other alien in the first film is known as the "space jockey" apparently.

  • @romrb2 Yeah I was watching the special features a few days back cause I had nothing better to do lol.

It is called the space jockey yar :)

  • @armageddontri7 and the forth was shit more like lol. Sorry resserrection fans, I really didn't like that one.

  • @armageddontri7 avp and avpr is about playing with the fear

  • @armageddontri7 the fourth was a fear to see the alien trilogy ending like this

  • @armageddontri7

The first movie was about rape.

    The second was about motherhood.

The third was about a chronic illness.

And the fourth was about nothing at all and that's why it sucked.

  • @pasrachilli first one was about rape?what?

  • @Raybi3z You didn't pick up the whole 'forcefully impregnated and forced to give birth' vibe?

  • @armageddontri7

No, the fourth was shit. Minor mistake there. d:

  • ich kann nicht verstehen warum der fim gefloppt ist,. alien 3 ist einfach nur ein meisterwerk

  • this one stands out because there is barely any space travel in the film

  • in finnish... "lento" means flight

  • 4:32 sounds so epic!

  • @ridingTheRail i have cry when i see this scene at this moment ;)

  • how gorgeous is this, love the movie and alien 3 soundtrack is gr8

  • Some movies you just have to see once a year , saw this yesterday.. so dramatic. the music is amazing and so powerful, so sad that hicks and newt had to die its like all the fighting in "aliens" was for nothing..but... in the bigger picture they wiped out the aliens, which was the plan all along =) a thought...in "alien resurrection" Ripley finally got back to earth, she was heading there in the first movie.....just took here about 286 years, crazy shit =)

(Ridley scott will direct alien 5)

  • @ZuperZuperZtar It wasn't Ripley though; it was a clone!

  • @gorboy True that :)

  • @ZuperZuperZtar lol i never knew it takes that long to get to earth. traffic these days ( phhhhhhhhh )

  • i love the two first films, but the third one..there something about it that makes me madly in love with it.

and since i am a huge fan of contemporary classical music, i just love the score.

  • I've seen this movie at least 50 times and I still can't watch the dog die

  • then watch the special edition, it comes out of something different

  • Isn't it an ox or something?

  • ya it is an ox, which i feel is better then having a dog. U really should see the assembly cut. Although the original was good, I thought the Special edition was much better with almost 30 minutes restored footage

  • The assembly cut is almost a completely different film. I thought the theatrical cut was pretty weak, but the assembly cut is probably my favourite film in the series (part of which is down to the fantastic music).

  • well said :)

  • I did like the Assembly Cut, it's just too bad more work wasn't done on some of the audio. Also, the ending wasn't as powerful as the Theatrical ending in my opinion.

  • You'd hate Cannibal Holocaust.

  • lol bro i see this movie probably 100 times can't sto watch it my favorite movie....

  • wasn't a real dog

you are ok with watching human dying but not dogs? dying is dying

  • i love the Alien serie

  • yes i cry to! poor hicks and nut, sniff!

  • i'm crying in the moment when they throw them into the blast furnace. rip ma lovely characters.

  • Lol, I cried when the Alien died!

  • lol that's is sick, aliens for me just a part of my favorite universe, the solitude is all over the series, as you probably suspect.

  • Thank you SO much for this!
