Wow, Gabrielle, super job! But I think you should stake those poles before she gets used to moving them (or go to a solid set). Quizz is a dog we will be looking or great things from in the future (but looking at your other 2 dogs that is nothing new). Well done!. Susan Garrett
Wow. What method did you use for Zing and Q? I'm thinking on sticking with my WAM for Remi, but I'm still thinking on it... I have until April 17th to figure out which method I'm gonna use. Great job Gabrielle, shes going to be a good one.
the 2x2 method is far my best yet all my other dogs where trained using diff. methods, and my sheltie puppy puck learned his weaves withe susans method in 4 days too!!! its awsome i love it=]
I haven't decided for sure; but, at this point, I think I'll jump 20 in AKC and 22 in USDAA. After Zing and Q qualify for the next AKC nationals, I only want to show in USDAA. While it's nice to have the option of a lower height, I really wish that she was Zing's size, lol. :)
how do you get them that fast? is it in the dog? i didn't use any method just let him have and weave (and he did just not fast).

Want weaves like that... How old was quiz when you taught her(him?) to weave?
KrazyKai0905 2 years ago
@KrazyKai0905 I think she was 13 months. Her growth plates were closed (confirmed by X-ray). :)

I'm planning on doing the 2x2 method with my next dog. I've seen a lot of dogs trained that way and love the results!

Awesome job! I trained Panic on 2x2s also; love that method!
She is ADORABLE by the way. And she looks so little, like a puppy still!! They grow up so fast. :]
cycleofmenace23 3 years ago
Thank you! :) I am so glad that I chose the 2x2 method! She seems so small to me (especially compared to Zing); she's about 17.25in and 22 lbs. :)
ZingQ 3 years ago
Wow, she is a little girl! Are you going to jump her 16 in AKC?
