Booooooooo CARMEX it is the worst lip product in the WORLD because it has to many chemicals in it which WILL Dry your lips even more!!!! And Burts Bees is all NATRAL so when you put it on your lips it will not dry your lips out!

I'm probably not the first person to say this, but the reason Burt's Bees lip balm is having a somewhat drying effect on you is because you use the carmex so often, which has several ingredients that make you NEED it. And since you NEED carmex and all the chemicals, a natural everyday lip balm will most likely not effect you.

My mom just tolled me yesterday that CarMex has a drug in it to make it addictive... The drug makes ur lips peal so you reuse it and you keep buying it! I was an avid CarMex user till yesterday! I used to put it on everynight before sleep! Dr Oz and Dr Phil both prooved this and the U.S. Are even thinking of baning this product. Think twice before using it!

Burts bees dries my lips out to :) Carmex is way better as soon as I got it I have never put another one on I have it on right now and I still feel it healing and moisturizing my lips and it's been 15 minutes. I think it really depends on the persons lips like if you have chapped lips burrs bees will help but if you have really horrible looking chapped lips use carmex the first time I tried carmex my lips were instantly healed :)

burts bees, does exactly what its supposed to... do you know what chapped means? to crack, roughen or redden and to split, crack or open in clefts

if burts bees makes your lips dry maybe you're putting too much/little on your lips

i've used burts bees for years and its always worked for me

I stopped using Carmex after about two day's due to reading bad reviews and immediately turned to Burt's bees. I have never used a lip balm for chapped lips in my entire life, this is technically my first one I have really used and it is absolutely amazing, definitely will never change to another, it does not dry my lips out at all.

never get burts bees replenishing lip balm with pomagranite oil it smells so bad that i wana throw up every 5 mins it feels allright on the lips but carmex is WAYYY better than byrts bees n i think that its cuz i hav history with carmex i literally grew up with it!!!!!n now im stuck with that over priced piece of shit!!!cuzz i dont have ny other hap stick oh yeah n the classic cherry chapstick is REALYY good to but carmex is good 4 healin n chapstick is good 4 protectin wel by who evers readn :)

Burt's Bees dries my lips out and irritates them. Carmex in the jar is awesome. Especially the Cherry one. Last for a long time and doesn't leave my lips horribly dry.

I'm okay with burt's beesTh tan cap smells like baby powder or something it's wierd. It doesn't dry out my lips, it just makes them smooth but thats it.I have the carmex in the squeeze tube (which I like more) & I LOVE the tingly feeling. I'm not a fan of the menthol smell (that's what it is right?) but after the 3rd use it's not as harsh. It's super moisturizing and smooth. Definatly my fav lip product ever, especially for a dollar.I also love how it looks like a lipgloss and isn't sticky

Burt's is overpriced shit. Carmex IS the shit. Carmex stick is better than the mini jar. The mini jar gets mushy when you carry is around in your pocket all day long.

My dad used to always buy the little tub of carmex, and when I was little I would use it, then for a while I tried to find something better, and i never did, so i always have carmex with me, and I apply a ton on at night, and in the morning, and usually don't have to even touch it the rest of the day, :) Love Carmex so much.

I had the same problem with that Burts Bees stuff. It didn't work at all and it did in fact dry out my lips even more. To make matters worse, it got sticky and dry on my lips. I LOVE carmex. I hadn't bought the stuff in the jar for 12 years, but after watching your video, I bought a jar of the original flavor yesterday. It's the best stuff ever!! Oh, and the click sticks are terrible compared to this stuff. Just FYI. :)

Carmex is way more likely to dry out your lips, because it's medicated. Burt's bees doesn't have menthol or salicylic acid in it, but both of those are in Carmex and are very drying.

@happytree1233 carmex doesnt dry out the lips though...it may have menthol and camphor, but it also have grease based substances that makes sure it doesnt dry it out.and its ALL NATURAL too just like burts bees!!

Carmex smells the way it does because it's medicated and the different waxes give it that smell. There's nothing bad about it either, nor is it addicting, as some people think it is. x3 I've looked up every single ingredient in Carmex and they're ingredients all other lip products use, inluding a wax that's a substitute for whale oil, which means Carmex is animal friendly. :D Plus it's the most recommended lip balm by pharmicists for ten years straight so far. Yay for Carmex!

I had burts bees, when i put it on my lips started to burn, that SECOND! then 5 minutes later, i saw my lips peeling. I was shocked, i mean, it did I was trying to prevent. I think I might of been allergic to peppermint or bees wax. My lips went crazy. It took 2 weeks to heal. I found softlips, but It wasn't strong enough. Later I found carmex, THE best best best EVER. This is a great review.

The red Burts Bee's is infused with Pomegranate oil. I personally like it. I just bought carmex today, and i was so suprised i should have filmed it.

the smell threw me off and i was kinda shouting in the car, "what the hell is happening to my lips?" it was really odd. but over all, i do like this product.
