What no it dosn't, this theme isnt nearly in beginning's of episodes, its allway's close to the ending in the slowwalk scenes, usually when something bad or good happens (Dexter walking into the stations with the FBI Agents, thinking he had been arested) dramatic scenes have this theme, not "previously on dexter" scenes.

It's played RIGHT after the Main Theme (the kitchen and etc), and starts when dexter says "previously on dexter" and ends when the actual episode begins.

everytime i hear this song, the dexter soundtrack in general I am lead to beleive there is something more behind each rythmn, each change in tempo and the mood of the song.....this song tells a tale of two lifes....the circus of work and the irony of hunting the very thing you grew up to become.

I'll try to say that in english :) I said, when i hear this music, i always think about a clown wich have a... injury at the leg, you know he can't walk very well. Something could be good but you feel something "weird" in that music... it's my feeling about this sound :D
