Retriever training - Directional hand signals

You have to get your dog used to running blinds. I bought two dvds, one was top dog and one was water dog off cabelas. I always had mediocre retreivers before buying this. However, my year and a half old lab took 2nd in a team timed hunt yesterday. His first hunt. There are alot of different videos, and alot of different drills. I'd recommend finding something that you know can produce results. Maybe fred sells videos on it to im not sure.

what types of drills do you do to get a dog to trust in you like that. My pup will only go if he knows that there is something there that he can see.
