  • How does he play all of this without moving his fingers? He didn't breathe either!!

  • The song is actually really easy its just the not blinking that gets you lol

  • What impresses me the most is the high notes. Not because they are high, or because on some of them he is jumping from C's below the staff, but because of how musical they sound. Most words I would use to describe high notes would be "screaming", "face-melting", or "paint-peeling". But here, it would be an insult to call them that. His high notes in this piece are sweet, emotional, almost delicate. It's really a beautiful thing, and something I haven't seen in any trumpet player before.

  • One Heifitz One Vizzutti!!

  • tha was too much for me............

  • my jaw dropped... that was simply wonderful...

  • La verdad es que es un superdotado, yo toco con boquilla de su nombre, me gusta.

  • #azz swag

  • how does he do this without even moving??? OR BREATHING???!!!!

  • Vizzutti is incredible I love hearing him play :)

  • am i the only one who realized "venice" was spelled wrong in the title?

  • @stingrei777 no, this is vizzuti's own tune which he calls carnival of venus.

  • @stingrei777 you're the only one that noticed because the song is called carnival of venus... not venice

  • @stingrei777 it's his own version, do you not notice the random octave changes?

  • azz

  • He must be one of those backwards mimes.... hm

  • This makes me never want to pick up a trumpet ever again. GOD, HE'S SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think i just wet myself....

  • his fingers go so fast that i can't even see them move! :-o

  • @Arnetrumpet915

it's just cause we can just see a picture...

    pictures do not move.. ;)

  • @theBikerdirt nooooo, you're kidding me, ofcourse pictures can move! lol :p

  • @Arnetrumpet915

    Not kiddin!! ahahah :P

  • he doesn't even look like he's playing what a pro

  • Hey pal, I am grown up. Just clean up the language. Just 'cause it might be allowed doesn't make it appropriate.

  • WOW. I've never heard intervals done like this. What an artist. I'm still trying to learn to play the piece straight...

  • Sorry guys - all that triple tonguing made me triple post!

  • I wonder how he gets those unique tone shades from his horn? Anyone know what kind of equipment he uses?

  • @grepa123 last time I heard he's a yamaha performing artist, they designed a trumpet just for him

  • What. The fuck.

  • @pman5595 Clean up your language. This guy's a great artist and that's the only word you can use to describe the performance. Grow up.

  • @RafaelSatchmo I'm a youtube commenter, not a music critic. The context of the youtube comments section is not one where profanity is not allowed, and you have no authority to tell me what to say. Grow up? How about the person complaining about profanity on youtube grows up.

  • um excelente dominio sobre o instrumento e uma tecnica e sincronismo perfeito parabens

  • Everyone stop giving Vizzutti crap. He's better than any of us could ever be. So you can make fun of his playing style and emotional efforts once you can play this with more emotion than he is. Until then.. thank you and goodnight.

  • This is very easy to masturbate to.

  • @masterthief104 INDEED!

  • Wow! I couldn't stop laughing in amazement

  • pfft thats easy!

  • O_O

    damn.

  • im shure oystein baadzvik could do this :s

  • @jthrunz Carnival of Venus it's a recent piece making use of the theme Carnival of Venice

  • @jthrunz This is an arrangement that Vizzutti plays entitled Carnival of Venus. Try harder.

  • He's so good, he doesn't even look like he's playing.

  • @Tubasrocktheworld Roger bobo :)

  • Grande Allen Vizzutti...você é um grande virtuoso!!!!

  • Clearly he is a show off, but in a good way he gives millions of people a role model to look up to in order for them to get better.

  • Clearly he is a show off ,but in a good way gives people someone to look up to in order to get better.

  • You could've at least asked if you could use the photo I took before you stole it . . .

  • @lastchairtpt Stole? If you don't want people on the internet to have your pictures, then don't put them on the internet.

  • How can you say there's no emotion in this? Allen Vizzutti has more emotion in his pinky finger than all of you combined.

  • I'd love to see a tuba player come along, and arrange this in bass clef, and play it a thousand times better than Allen. :D

  • Oh, plus, I have to say that I'm diggin' the orange suit jacket.

  • I have to agree, I think that it's largely a technical show more than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I love Vizzutti, but you can't deny that he's a bit of a show-off. With good reason, of course. I mean, shit, if I could play that well, you bet your ass I'd write my own godly arrangement of an Arban solo.

  • Please remove the dislike button. Please.

  • Vizzutti is just plain ridiculous: I don't think the carnival of venice is quite tricky enough, so I shall write my own version...

  • MI IDOLO!

  • @itchygoober well i have to say you no nothing about this ..... because it most defiantly has emotion .... list to the clarity in those runs .... Allen is one of the best but he spent time ... that creates emotion in itself .... he was wonderful vibrato (just the right amount) Also a lot of or most of this is improve so that also shows emotion so why don't you think about what you say before you say it .... plus have you seen this man play UGH!!!

  • @itchygoober

    no emotion in his playing???

  • what in the hell is wrong with this guy?????

  • to all the people trying to sound smart but say this piece is a song.. fail

  • madre mia con razon es el carnaval de Venus jaja

  • madre mia

  • Three people can't double tongue an arpeggio in triple octaves...

  • @Zattifier133 A LOT more than that...

  • he must wake up and look in the mirror and say himself..."ha...im THE boss."

  • INCREDIBLE. WELL CONTROLLED INTERVALS, PERFECT TONE. JUST WOW. ive just dont drade 7 trumpet, and after listening to this i feel terrible!

  • He wrote this so only he can play it correctly, no one else. Which means he is WIN. I aspire to be this good, but I doubt that will ever happen. This man is trumpet god

  • ( and it is clear that i am only speaking about THIS song )

  • Hey guys, calm down. I haven't said that Vizutti isn't a great trumpet player. This video is f...ing impressive. Vizutti has great skills, and i could'nt do half of what is doing.

But you must admit that this video is just a technical show. Where are music, emotion in this ?

    (P.s, I'm not a clarinet player :-)

  • @findun If you can't hear the musical emotion in this song, I feel sorry for you. And you couldn't do any of what he is doing.

  • i love how in the picture for the video, his facial expression is all like 'yeah, im playin this shit, what evs' hahaha

  • Arban go home

  • This beats Chuck Norris.....

  • I'm going to go practice now...

  • i think two people missed the like button

  • I think Sergei Nakariakov and Maurice Andre disliked this video haha.

  • @justintrumpet21 i laughed so hard at this comment.

  • that piano player has some pretty awsome skillz, too.

  • marvalous

  • 6:15 sounds like two trumpets...Allen Vizzutti really has some skillz

  • Allen Vizzutti wrote this to troll all trumpet players of the next millennium.

  • this its awesome!!!!!!

  • that 1 dislike is an idiot

  • @haitian561carl

The disliker is surely Jean-Baptiste Arban...He's Jealous of course...

  • I have the Sheet Music for this and its insane XD tried it and could only go so far. Allen Vizzutti is Amazing!

  • I fell like such a wuss. I complained about the original carnival of venice. Now I know to shut the heck up and stick to wha t im doing.

  • Vizzutti wrote it (I know...based on Carnival) and I don't know anyone else who can PLAY it. Possibly the most difficult piece ever written for trumpet. If not, one of the top 10 for sure.

  • I love how the description says "no description available." So true!!!

  • awesome!!!!!

  • @findun Wow dude really? you must be a clarinet player. That's just disrespectful to everything Vizzutti had accomplished in his solo trumpet career.

  • @findun I usually don't talk like this but...shut the fuck up you little mother fucking bitch, who the fuck are you to say this is not music and he has bad sound. You have to be one stupid piece of shit to expect him to have a perfect sound playing at that speed, that is the fastest playing I have heard to date.

  • @findun I can understand what you're saying if your only basing it only off the first minute or so but if you did listen past say, 4:15 and you still think that then you pretty much are retarded. Im not saying I don't like Marsalis, but Vizzutti is a damn good musician, technical skill aside.

  • @findun You just wish you could play with a tenth of his musicality, let alone a thousanth of his technical skill.

  • @findun pretty true when you think about it

  • @findun ur an idiot

  • @findun This dude doesn't know what to listen to in a player. It should be obvious that this dude playing is very experienced. How can you tell me he doesn't have a good sound? I don't think Wynton could play this song. I've heard him play the version that was arranged by Jules Demerrseman and changed a bit to suit the trumpet. If I am missing any please me in cause I don't like to mess up on stuff like this.

  • Vizzutti just made that piece his bitch.

  • is this on an album, or live performance or what...?

    need to buy this. now

  • @tuber4596 its on i tunes

  • Amazing, Beautiful, technical marvel. To attempt to compare is to miss the point. Great is Great, and Allen Vizzutti is GREAT!

  • no its impossible. you cant play this corectly!

  • It's difficult to believe it's just him and a piano... He plays so many notes so fast it sounds like there are at least two trumpets in some parts.

  • I must say this is an incredible piece but the original just sounds so much better. I know it takes much more skill to play and all, but it just doesn't sound nice.

  • great

  • This may just be the best thing I've ever heard. Ever.

  • oh snap

  • the best

  • the best

  • 2:35......did i here a mistake.....he must've ment to do that....holy crap this is amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • @NHBASS2 No? I don't hear it.

  • w0w !!

  • whoaaaaaaaa... amazing.. vizzutti.. i salute u..^^

  • Vizzutti defines trumpet playing at its finest! I love how cleanly he changes partials.

  • Well he did write it.

  • ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!! one of the most amazing things i've ever heard, Allen is defently one of the greatest ever.

  • Unglaublich Geil!
