@dyenius So you caould say as a human you want to be able to do as much as humans can do... I was a boxer as well as started uni for chemistry & premed. In the end, though you can do anything any other human can do, you will find you are better at doing some things than others. I find this is a better indicator than even your own feelings though you should cultivate both. I is for your personal evolution, the other our collective. I like to make music more than heal but I am a better healer
@dyenius As we evolve we become more and more of what it is to BE human. Vocation becomes more temporariry. In lue of our constantly shifting form and to increase our awareness of this it is best we have many vocations. Mine run from ecological knowledge on how to care, organically, for plants, how to write about internet marketing, shamanism, yoga, full time dad, musician, and the list could really keep going. I have spent time with amazonian fishermen mainly just fishing and chilling,
It is pure GRACE from the divine that leads to the awakened state and it will happen for each person just as it is meant to. You could sit in a monastary for 40 years meditating and may never attain enlightenment. It's all about letting go and the grace given from the true source. The connection is ALWAYS there. It's just a matter of seeing it.
I disagree with some of the comments on here saying that you have to go through all these methods and time to attain Enlightenment. When I was awakened, I did not even know what the word enlightenment meant. I had no background of any type of new age spirituality. I had a nervous breakdown and I gave up and it happened for me. Sometimes too much information CAN lead you astray because you are seeking and expecting something and that doesn't allow you to let go. (cont...)
@queenvelvet awakening and enlightenment are different things. I have been awakened for years. I am not enlightened. You have to renounce the world. You need to overcome the laws of the collective physical reality, what would cause others death you must live through. You must change the meaning of time. Years must mean the same as seconds. Methods can vary but way cannot be avoided. We can reach enlightenment now easier than past human, still renouncement of the world and yourself must b
no shortcuts! people are searching far and wide for a quick fix. but enlightenment is no quick fix. and people who advertise things saying "oh this will speed up your enlightenment" or "do this method". Just do your simple breathing meditation and stop expecting to become an ascended master overnight,.
people are so impatient, we cant just flick a switch and be enlightened. it takes time and it might not happen this lifetime for most of us. We have to be patient and have faith in the one true dharma and just hang in there. There are no shortcuts to enlightenment only the dedicated will arrive at their final destination.
its about letting go. letting go of the ego, this bondage called the wheel of samsara. I have a question just hypothetical, what if your teaching people was actually causing them to endure more suffering? Think about that, are your intentions really to help people? If they were then maybe you would be teaching the one true dharma!
i think your vids are cool, but the buddhas teachings are so important and people are being lead astray by the videos you're making. Thank you and best of luck
@SuperCozmos in any way did I say enlightenment was going to just happen? Maybe you should watch my video Immediate Enlightenment. I think you misinterpreted much... I have been working on my spirituality since I was 11. I went to india when I was 18. I spent thousands of dollars and at times 6 months in a 15 family village days away from any type of normal society. The buddha was of the last age. I am like you of the new age. did you listen to the video?
Good stuff, brother. Glad to see you're happy with the direction in which your journey is moving. =O) I guess we're all adolescents in certain parts of our development, or will be eventually. And thanks for sharing your thoughts about finding your true path; it's been my preoccupation lately.
