There are many TECHNIQUES of applying thermal coumpound you can just put the Heat sink on and let the heat sink spread the Compound or just spread it before putting the heatsink eithere way there both effective...
my stock clock is 3.4 my oc is 4.0 and its only gets 2c hotter trust me those h50s are baddass i just wish they made one for gpus too lol id buy one in a heart beat for my 4890
mines and amd 965 quad and yeah it stays pretty cool i keep it on the oem speed most of the time tho i oc when i want it for somthing that i figure im gonna need it for but that realy hasnt been the case cuz the processer is fast enough for anygame on the market right now
thank you..one of the best coolers obviously, beats cheap watercooling kits,i heard it beated one of the thermaltake water cooling kits but i dont remember which one,or so i heard...
Right on! Glad it's all coming together for you. 5/5
I was nervous the 1st time I did this. I went out and bought examination gloves so I wouldn't get impurities on either surface. I didn't shoot it cause I felt like such a noob.

@computerkiller13888 You don't know much about thermal paste do you?
vearheart42 1 year ago
@computerkiller13888 ur not ment to spread it, when u spread it air bubbles can get in there and make ur temps high.
tehhalders 1 year ago
@computerkiller13888 actually, no you are not. spreading it out increases the chances of air bubbles being created.
