How could he tell that the ghost woman's eyes and hair were brown in the pitch black? With the naked eye, everything appears black-and-white in the dark because that's just how eyes work. Even if he had night-vision he wouldn't be able to tell what color anything was.

Yeap they do. I bet they've never seen a ghost in their lives. Ghosts only appear to people that do not beleive in them. They come into the lives of people when least expected. I know because I and my mother were harrassed by a ''knocking'' ghost when I was a child. It was weird and unexpected, but then again, my mom was troubled and my parents fought often and our house was situated on a old 'hanging grounds' in texas. The whole neighborhood was having these weird ghost hauntings.

(This is what I am noticing) It reminds me of the Coke vs Pepsi and McDonalds vs Burger King Days lol. It's funny that you mentioned 'Ghost Busters' although I know you meant 'Ghost Hunters' but it is actually believed that the movie 'Ghost Busters' is what started most of what we are seeing these days.
