Dear, I wdnt write if I wasnt sure. Her both parents are azeries. They moved to Iran from Baku just before she was born. So therefore, she is Azeri too originally. Her parents got divorced when she was a child. She speaks perfect Azeri. Recently she had an interview in BBC in Azeri language.
