This movie was terrible. There are far better movies dealing with ancient battles and wars. Try Gladiator, Braveheart, Troy and Kingdom of Heaven. Persian Immortals weren't even that good. They were just made up of 10,000 Persian men with light armor, little wicker shields, and a regular spear. The Immortals were defeated at Marathon, Thermopylae (although the Persians won the battle), Plataea, Mycale, and finally Issus when Alexander the Great came in and took over the Persian Empire. They were only good for dealing with pathetic rebels and as intimidation for weak-minded enemies.
