Hey, guys. I don't think there's any need to argue about the song, just appreciate it for what it is. Like any other piece of work, people will interpret it differently. Anyway, living in OC (Anaheim) and attending SHHS, I've always felt connected to Browne's music. This is my all-time favorite song, and I've done plenty of research on it. In an interview with KGSR, Browne said, "I'm really talking about where I'm from and where I'm singing about it in that song is Orange County, California."
