I watch Top Gear enough to be familiar with french car companies. I do give Peugeot the prize for being the only company to make a car more stupid looking than the Smart Car, with their 107/C1. I realize this is a composite, but in comparison with the 1960's there seem to be far more serious accidents. Cars are a lot more powerful So when they do come unstuck it's at a lot higher speed. Decades ago, when a car is off, someone would always go up stage to warn other drivers. But the dickheads that spectate today stand in the most dangerous places, and are just as likely to smoke when you're on the roof with petrol running everywhere.

some of these drivers could have avoided some of these crashes, after the crash starts, lots of the cars that flip from getting sideways could have been saved, somebody corect me if im wrong but if they could turn the wheel faster and countersteer it early enough to catch to car, then straighten it out right befor the car gets back onto all four to avoid fliping it on to the other side.

Ich bin vor 4 Jahren bei einer finnischen Rallye mit einem Freund angetreten und in einer S-Kurve hat es uns von der Straße gefegt. Just dort standen zwei Jugendliche, die VIEL ZU NAH an der Piste standen.

Auch wenn es mich teilweise immer noch verfolgt, dass der eine für immer querschnittsgelähmt und der andere tot ist ... letztenendes sind sie selbst schuld gewesen sich so weit in die Fahrschneise zu lehnen ...

Also - VERDAMMT NOCHMAL - haltet 50 m von Geschehen Abstand !!!
