I wish he would have spoke on the first half of the second amendment. The need to revitalize the constitutional state militia is so important. check out Dr. Edwin Vieira, he is one of maybe a handful of people that would have peter taking notes on economics and constitutional law. He addresses the second amendment in more detail than anyone i have ever seen.
Why does he almost always make so much sense. I agree with about 98% of his policies. If many others think the same way I'm sure he has no chance at being elected. If most disagree then of course he has no chance of being elected.
He makes so much sense because of his upbringing and the fact that his father taught him Austrian economic principles. If one were to read Ludwig von Mises' 'Human Action', you would understand things around you as you never have before. Peter quotes Mises many times in his speeches, and most of his ideas are Misesian in nature. Same with Ron Paul. Most of his economic knowledge is from the Austrian School. Peter was Ron Paul's economic advisor during the campaign. Connect the dots.

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty" -Thomas Jefferson
I believe that this is the main reason why the 2nd amendment was put in place- To keep the government fearful of an angry people.
