I must say, it seems to be closer to a good rendition with a more serious tone than I thought, and Neesen as Zeus is pretty genius. Everything of importance seems to be there so far, well see about the details. I had 3 favs in my childhood, Deathrace 2000 (which got screwed by a remake) Ice Pirates (which I dont think anyone will attempt, and this one. At least the CGI doesnt look like CGI. I have some minor gripes already but it seems that there is more good than bad so far. Can't Wait!

Looks great, but it's too early to say if it's better than the original. It might look CGI-tastic, but it'll die on it's arse if the script's crap. Just look at 'Transformers 2'.

This trailer is a bit over the top and cheesy, but I am hoping the movie will be good. I loved the original as a kid, and I really hope that the remake will at least stay somewhat true to the story. We'll see.
