WHY is Christopher Plummer such a bother? He plays these roles that just get in the way!... "What do you think you were doing?!!" Hey! It's called AD LIB! oooh, aw shoot, she's looking at him in the picture! Sooo The Terminator.. she's thinking of him when the polaroid is taken! That's pretty cool, actually...
Some idiot on IMDB thinks that this movie is similar to James Cameron's Titanic (1997). The only common thing is the time period of 1912. This movie is about a time traveler from the 70's who who falls in love with a 1912 actress. Titanic had no time travel at all, only the memories of a 100 yr old Titanic survivor; also, it's clear in this movie that there is no love triangle. Her manager does not want her sexually/romantically; he wants for Elise to devote her life to the theater only.
You know a woman wants to be kissed when she goes and stands by the nearest door frame so she can be pressed up against it, they do it all the time :)
@clearlyme2u YES!!!! OMG...I was trying to figure who the "photographer" was...and I kept thinking that I used to watch him doing comedy on something...and I just couldn't remember!!!
oh god my heart melted when the photograph was taken as he gazed at her from the other side of the lens. beautiful. beautiful. there are no words to describe.
LINE OF ELISE MCKENNA P2: You, who brought it to me for the first time. Is there any way that I can tell you how my life has changed? Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me? There is so much to say. I cannot find the words. Except for these: I love you". Such would I say to him if he were really here.
line of elise mckenna P1:The man of my dreams has almost faded now. The one I have created in my mind. The sort of man each woman dreams of, in the deepest and most secret reaches of her heart. I can almost see him now before me. What would I say to him if he were really here?"Forgive me. I have never known this feeling. I have lived without it all my life. Is it any wonder, then, I failed to recognise you?

Jane is really the ideal female for this role if you ask me. She has the perfect form of this time period =D
Although I prefer a full figured gal. She has that amazing image =)

"... as an actress, not a doormat, ... do not attempt to wipe your boots on me!"
more powerful because of the general politeness of the society at that time
