They must have been feeling of sense of abandonment from their government, watching people die around them for days and not knowing how many more days would go on with conditions around them being so bad, with no help coming in at all. And no, they didn't NEED black slaves to build the uS. They were just convenient. They used other whites before that, but found it more conveniant to abuse black slaves. many whites still were slaves, though, and many others were practically slaves (indentured servants and sharcroppers). "it really annoys me when everyone blames the government for the Katrina disaster. I agree that the government didn't respond too well, but way too many people stayed after being told to leave and depended on the gov. And even if there wasn't a mandatory evacuation, lets look at the stats:

Cat 5 Hurricane

175 mph winds

City is 5-15 feet below sea level in most places

40-70 year old levees

25+ feet of storm surge

I don't know about you, but if that was me, I would be hauling ass out of there.

@gensNormannorum The aftermath of Katrina was just a microcosm of what will happen in the case of say an economic collapse. The law and order we see today is just an illusion able to exist thanks to the prosperity brought on from fossil fuels. Once things become scarce humans revert back to their primitive nature. Some races are more primitive than others. Study demographic maps now and areas with high percentages of blacks so you know where to steer clear of.

I remember the next day a reporter was boating around and he said there was a dog wrapped in electrical wires that kept getting electrocuted and it would pass out, and it would wake up and move and get electrocuted again. Poor dog. People may have been getting hurt, too.
