Nice,although a bit too 'ethereal' for my taste but technically,great.
For me,I'm more of a 'grits n' gravy' guy.
If it makes me tap my foot (without having to count bar lines) and it's got a feeling for the blues,then all is right with the world.

Ben is the monster! He also seems to be quite a big guy. Kurt Rosenwinkel told on his homepage that Ben has really big hands, and that he saw him complete chords with his nose :) I just got his record "Oceana" and it IS THE SICKEST record Ive ever heard. If you think this is intense, then you have heard nothing of what he is capabable of. Search for Ben Monder interview and Abstact Logix on google. There can you listen to clips from "Oceana", and read his comments on them as well.

who would turn down a maria schneider gig? Yes as always a musical visoionary. He is so good at building such a "firey pit of hip" during his solos.

As always a very sophisticated solo guitar playing. A musician this scale does not have to play at Maria Schneider's band. It is my humble but honest opinion
