He was very popular in Japan as one of the strongest Kyokushin Karate players and rival of Andi Hug (K-1) and Kancho Matsui. We were at that time big fan of him and I personally have never seen such a hard puncher like him. Not only being strong, he was also noted for his wonderful and modest personality. I am so grad to see that he is doing very fine at his academic society. Really he is wonderful. From his fan in Japan
