The last few major tournaments have had a lot of these totally pointless and really annoying pitchside shots of managers and players. The world cup this Summer had something even more annoying in the form of super-slow motions of players clapping and going "Come on!"; I always just want to jump up and scream at the TV "BACK TO THE GAME PLEASE!!"

Hopefully if England gets the 2018 world cup we'll get English directors at the matches who show footage of the game only, like with the Premiership
