I've been listening to these demos for a few years now, as well as other sabbath bootlegs like the ray gillen ones which im glad to say have been officialy released as parts of Seventh Star and Eternal Idol deluxe editions....all i can say is roll on Dehumanizer Deluxe edition, theres a shit load of content that never made the final disc...
Uh...wow! Can't believe how good this is and why it was never properly finished and released? It's that good for sure, very much in keeping with the rest of the dehuminizer material, certainly doesn't sound like your usual demo or outake.
A really great song! It just shows how much better Sabbath could have been past 1991 if they hadn't fallen towards the pressure of going more back to the roots and forcing out heaviness and doom. This is much more in the vein of Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules. Much more melodic, and much better. Even the sound is cooler than the one that ended up on the Dehumanizer album.
Right! Ozzy rejoins Sabbath in '97, and they produced how many new songs? The answer is two in case you didn't know. Dio rejoins nine years later, and they release three new songs, which was followed by the Devil You Know album. Sabbath with Ozzy is dead; the Dio-Sabbath reigns supreme!
Actually, I do. You see, I used to be one of those Ozzy fans that worshiped the ground he walked on. Then I understood a lot of Ozzy's negative business practices. I understood how Ozzy wrote very little of the Sabbath material. Then I understood how he didn't write any of the lyrics to his first two solo albums.
But naturally, I don't understand "a shit." I suppose with my "Ozzy-glasses" back on, I can see the world as you, and talk about how "Suicide Solution" is about Bon Scott.
@sabbathmaiden That's a good Ozzy has not written the songs of the album with Sabbath hahahahahahahaha.Ozzy with the Sabbath invented heavy metal , ozzy sabbath was successful with sabbath, Ozzy is the godfather of heavy metal Ozzy is the best singer with sabbath . Not to say other stuff I recommend
Hate to shatter your little ego, but Ozzy wrote very little of the Sabbath material--Geezer Butler wrote 95% of the lyrics, and Tony Iommi wrote most of the music. But I suppose it's not worth my time to argue with you, because you only see things as Ozzy, or rather, Sharon, wants you to.
@sabbathmaiden Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he had a lot to do with Goodbye To Romance, more so than just the vocal melody like what he usually did in Sabbath.
@z341 To the best of my knowledge, Bob Daisley wrote pretty much all the lyrics to that song. Bob said in an interview that, that song was about Ozzy leaving Black Sabbath.
@sabbathmaiden Yeah man I did know that but I wasn't sure. In Ozzy's biography he talks specifically about that song and how for once he felt like he was part of the song writing process, so I didn't know.
This song should have seen the sun's light, CLASSIC! Dehumanizer has got to be one of the most heavy albums Sabbath has, Dio throws his inner agressiveness
its the first time he used more than 1 millionth of his voice. too many peoples hearts exploded so he had to tone it down on the account of being to powerful.
What a drummer Cozy Powell was , he was shit hot, if only he was in Heaven & Hell now it would have been a super group, a really tough sounding band. His by far the best drummer ive' heard next to Ian Paice. All you hear on the first song on TYR Anno Mundi is him , like a thunder storm approaching.
Just to note, this didn't make it to production, just a demo. And would have posted more from Dehumanizer but they just get pulled off, because warner owns it, same with all the other albums from Eternal Idol and backwards.
@BlackSabbath370 bands as big as sabbath should have started their own label! Then there would have been no worry about what stays and goes. I don't understand why they never think of these things, right?*sigh*
@silveraindrop75 problem is back when sabbath were releasing albums they got fuckall money for it, and black sabbath got ripped off by their first manager, and had liek amillion dollar tax bill to pay off so id say setting up their own label was the last thing on their minds
This song is a jam. I remember buying this cd for my brother for his b-day when it first came out in July 1992. Sabbath will always be badass either with Ozzy or Dio.
wow what an asshole he doesnt seem to get the explanation you are giving to him why dont you just fucking piss off and stop insulting people for answering a question
Well no shit? It's kind of hard to miss that, considering that's in the fucking title. Maybe I should clarify for your dumb ass: What song is this, because it's not on the album.
It as well is in the title, never made it to production. Don't ever comment on my vids if you're just going to insult me. You ask for the song, i told you what it is so don't snap at me for a thoughtless question.
Man fuck you. How was I to know that? I've never even heard of this album, or song you mother fucker. I'll comment any of your videos you son of a bitch.
this song shouldve been on the album
