There is a new version of this model expected very soon called the Np8662, it will have a GTX 260M and the option of 2.0 Ghz Quad Cores (as well as duo) still in the 15.4 chassis.
It is already available for pre sale from some sites too. I almost ordered the old unit until I heard about this one ETA mid April. I can't wait!!
-Battery life lasts about an hour and a half just web surfing... playing a game like WOW i can get about 45 mins or so.
-my mouse is a DeathAdder made by Razer
- as far as the screen goes i dont mind it. I never have reflection problems. I can say this tho... if you plan on watching movie and playing games get the glossy every movie looks HD on this thing and games looks awesome.
You can actually get more battery life out of it by turning the fan off(silent mode). I can pump 3 hours out of it doing that and also putting the CPU on "performance on demand" mode and switching to the WIndows 2000 theme so that the GPU isn't stressed. Also helps to hit FN+F2 to turn the screen off if you're going to be away for a bit.
The screen is very nice, sometimes I wish it were a tad brighter though.
hey man I'm getting the nop 8662 but err I was wondering if the screen is godo enough.. cuz im sorta thinking of getting a 23" monitor with it.. but idk never had a 23" or a 15 inch so idk how it is
they dont sell them with the 9800GT anymore only the 9800GTS which is inferior in number of shader processors, i forget the numbers but its like 30 shaders less
since you can see his reflection, i assume it's glossy. therefore it's also WSXGA+ (1680x1050) resolution. the sager doesn't offer glossy for WUXGA ^^

You could always plug it in while you game so you don't waste your battery. But, that's assuming you'll be gaming at a place where you can plug in.
