It's a shame that Amano doesn't design characters for Final Fantasy anymore; he had really original ideas for each of them. Nomura had that for FF VII through 10, and for Kingdom hearts (note that these are before it became Square-Enix) but for Kigdom Hearts 2, he just showed his lack of imagination. I mean, Organisation XIII? They all looked the bloody same! And that's what his male characters are all like - spiky hair, spiky hair, spiky hair, whether it's long or short, it's gonna be spiky.

when getting this game(after being a huge fan of 1 and 4) the scene were biggs, wedge and terra walk into the distance just blew my socks off. the music was amazing, even the opening. and how the game creators have there names in the backround reminded me of a movie. everything set up in this opening was perfect. my favorite scene ever, my favorite final fantasy ever, best RPG, 2cd best game ever. just outstanding.

@lilross2k6 Don't know if you have your answer by now, but look for Final Fantasy Anthologies for the Playstation One. I've got a copy myself, though the music is a bit different from the original since it was "Fixed" and some of the translation is now different as well. Its still the same exact game otherwise though.

Originally the RPG has the a good point to be able to spend play time of dozens of times of the movie.

This opening is what really introduced me to SNES games; I got into FF6 around the time that the N64, and I think even the PS2 was around, yet this opening moved me then most games for those systems did, with a few exceptions.

It's thanks to this game that I also tried the likes of Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, and for that, I am grateful <3
