  • Air holes are too small dude

  • @maneaalexandru1986 Those aren't airholes moron, they are for terminals.

  • GOOD JOB ON THE BUILD.

  • @soccer937309 thank you

  • Nice job bro! looks nice

  • kamıll hava deılgı nerde mal!!!!!D:

  • i couldnt even tell at the end that its not factory box

  • Should get some Kicker Solo X's lol, they are way louder then the L7's.

  • say homie how much would you sale a box like that for????? halla at me this iz my e=mail address, tracy_n_rich@yahoo.com......

  • nice box

  • how did you do the s logo between the woofers?

  • to small the boxl

  • hmmmm is that the proper size for a 15 in square sub? and if ya go ported would it have to be bigger? i am gona be puting 6 15in solo baric subs in my impala and still have the back seat just wondering if it is possible and still have the subs sound great

  • nice box man good job

  • sweet box i tihnk imma take my subs out and see if the joints r siliconed i dont hink they are. my subs beat the shit outta my box i think the sub screws are loosining

  • BRO ARE U GONNA LEAVE THE AIR TRAPPED IN THERE??? WTF

OR DID I JUST NOT SEE IT//

  • @pUNjAbiFlow23 yeah, its a sealed box. Oh well, they are kickers...

  • @BakermanINC

yeah..man i didnt know abt enclosures 4 months ago..lmao i though they always needed a port so the air could get out.. nice box btw

  • vent those subs! you'll be amazed what a slot port will do.

  • this song is pretty good

  • where did you found the MDF boards ??

  • Dude you forgot to do an Enclosure. Without an enclosure your subs will sound bullshit compared to if They had an enclosure ..

  • @UserFallenSatan what do you mean by the word "enclosure"?

  • @racingduckss are you serious ? -.-''

Just search on google , im not writting 6 pages to describe it lmfao..

  • @racingduckss UserFallenSatan has his "facts" wrong. The cabinet/box IS the enclosure. What we all think you mean is a port. This is a sealed subwoofer.

  • doesnt have hole?

  • @angelito2351 it is really anoying when people that dont know jack shit about custom boxes try posting here. omg really? someone ask where to get mdf? do you ever use google? no? only youtube? go fuck your self. and really you dont know that you can have a sealed box? porting is just the cheap way of getting more volume. sealed is the way to go

  • nice man its a good job

but it hasn't any reinforcement and that subs are reallly big ...the box has to be the most rigid as possible

  • nigga who is u playin, let them subs breathe....6 cu ft ported for each sub

  • wat did u use to cut the square out for the sub?

  • Nice box. I hate all the douchebags who think they're from Pimp My Ride or something that call it junk when they're too lazy to go make one themselves.

  • what is the white sealant i used silicone on mine?

  • junk- i would have gone with sound compression using baffle boards and rectangular ports.

  • You Have To make 45 degree angle braces 4 of them inside if your making a sealed enclosure for kicker squares u should look on there website

  • Where is the soundproofing? Without soundproofing as well you could put them in bulk. Why is this type of enclosure rather than BR?

  • im building one for my hummer h3...would u recommend trying this if im new to fiberglass? and how much did everything cause u 2 build it? thanks in advance

  • hey do you know if the cut out size is 13.75 for the SL15

  • THATS SHIT WAST OF MONEY

  • SLRist where you from? Ou i understand, facemask is not needed because he mad only ONE box.

  • nie ma wylotu to ci nie będzie grało rozpierdoli ta tube

  • what are the deminsions??

  • If you're working with MDF and powertools, always wear a mask. MDF dust is lethal stuff.

  • that looks siriously sick man tidy job good carpeting too and nice subs

  • Comment removed

  • subs need air

  • Great looking box man!

  • yea, you should of made some holes to let air flow, because this way it creates a pressure, and your subs can't vibrate fully.

  • @alexjseguin a stupid if u know about subbs it beats harder with out holes.

  • @0spaceboy actually it doesnt. Well i guess its on how the box is made though but when i put my 10 in a sealed box it sounded good but when i put it in the same cubic foot sized box same brand and everything just ported, it was alot louder.

  • @SubMasterT ok i see what u talkin about now

  • no u idiot porting a box is like supercharging ur car its way better believe me.

  • Comment removed

  • bubs? lol

  • no shit bitch boy

  • @alexjseguin HAHA you my friend are a fucking dumb ass!!! Notice I spelled it "Dumb Ass" This is because you are not only dumb but you are an ass for ragging on these guys work. That is an awesome box and he chose to go sealed with it not ported so shut your fucking mouth and learn something before you decide to critisize someone elses work FUCKTARD!

  • ahh dude where is da hole for the air to come out lol haha !!! ported or square lol wow lol

  • sub port

  • It's fine to use a divider like this, its a good brace. If you wanted to get real picky, you could examine what kind of standing waves can develop in a 1.5ft dimension (753.3hz) vs a 3ft dimension (376.7hz). Both are above what you're producing so thats fine. But the delay time - 13ms vs 26ms. 26ms starts to get into the range of audible delay, so smaller dimensons are actually cleaner. Anyway its always good to line the walls with polyfill to reduce internal reflections. And more bracing!

  • ahhh man you never use a divider unless you are running the sub off its own signal if both subs are sharing the same amp then you need no divider

  • why did you series the subs? unless your gona bring hem down to 2ohm on your amp

  • very nice :D

  • nicee subs can u make mee a box :D

  • It looked like you wired it up in a 4 ohm series

  • good job, what do u use to seal with? i use liquid nails

  • looks nice, not trying to dis but idk why he went with a closed box...shoulda went with ported...kickers have never been known for sound quility

  • maybe he didnt want to cause ported is harder and takes more time than a closed

  • where do you get your KICKER?

  • where can i buy the carpeting or that black material he put outside the box.

  • for a sealed box that divider was a BAD idea...it would hit harder without it...a divider is a bad idea 4 any box with hight end subs

  • why is that a bad idea?

if he happens to fry one sub, the other one wont fry the way it would in an undivided box

id say it makes perfect sense to me.

  • Thx :)

  • yea but with big subs like those its gonna hit hard as hell with the divider, an as big as those subs are and as hard as they will hit those subs would tear that box apart if it didnt have a divider. cause trust me people told me the same thing and i tried it. and my subs destroyed the box without it

  • Maybe bracing would've been better then a full on divider? Granted a box needs to be strong and braced, but I've always been told that having a divider might make a sort of "echoing" effect.

But I guess it's all up to you.

  • yea you are right, cause my mtx 12s are in a divided box and it does make a little eco, but beats hard ass hell, but yea im getting a ported box, not sure what new subs im gonna get but im getting an alpine headunit and a 4000 lanzar amp, or 1600

  • using your divider theory, would the same deal apply to a ported box? like would they hit harder with a divider in a ported box as opposed to without a divider?

  • yea i guess your right, i didnt even think about that

  • Where did u get the dirextions or w/e for that?? cuz im getting 2 l7 15's and i want it ported know how to make it hit me up

  • please tell me that you used wood glue and not silocone, and screws.

  • should of fiber glased it up man

  • really cool video man

  • kicker > all

  • this has inspired me to build my own all ive got is 900w edge sub with 400w amp running it

  • nice man, those subs will probably tear that box to shreds, but you should have went ported, although 5/5 for the box, really nice

  • @Krazykidone22 The manual to the L7 and the circular equivilant cvx say you can put them in sealed boxes. NO way are you going to get the full potential though

  • @Krazykidone22 thanx men :)

  • What Kind of wood are you using?

  • it says on the tilte MDF

  • dude no way.. if you have those 2 subs and a big ass amp you could tear the box apart. those subs are beast. i got two of them and they almost broke the brace on the inside of mine and that shit is like 4ft by 3ft by 4ft. and its a deep ass box.

  • i agree of a ported box.. it can give loud deep bass than seald..

  • ist all preference, a sealed box will play a lot more clean bass, for stuff like metal and what not with all the double bass pedal shit, ported box plays thoughs longer extended bass parts in all your rap and w/e a lot louder than if it were sealed.

  • yah!... i agree of you to..... seald has a good clean bass.. but it cant give a long throw bass.. but ported was the best..

  • i don't get it. whats the advantage to having a sealed box instead of a ported one?

  • better sound quality....so common sense wise..a ported well give you a deeper bass response or whatever making you have better SPL or loudness.

  • very true i have all my subs in ported boxes for that real deep bass but if you want your shit to kick hard go with a sealed box

  • Creates air pressure behind the speaker and helps to stop sound clipping.

  • is that 10guage wire?

  • s0ry f0r my stupid comment. didnt see that part. O_O

  • i tihnk that hole is to0 small for that monsters

  • actually this is a completely Sealed Box. There are no ports. those holes in the side of the box are where the wires run to the external wiring connectors. check out 4:21

  • muy buena fabricacion

  • whats the difference between ported and sealed

  • ported lets air in so the subs can breath and it sounds better and seald is the opposite

  • output

  • And then you also have bandpass and hornloaded.. More then just meats the eye =)

  • wow lol nice box and it only took 5mins to make.

  • i have looked everywhere for little connectors like those for my box that im building. where do you get them?? you know the things you screw the wires into that goto your subs?

  • ebay, car audio websites, radio shack.

  • parts express, crutch field, sonic electronics, websites like that have them for low prices

  • thanks guys finally went to radio shack and picked up a set. they work great! still waiting for my subs to be shipped in they were on backorder till this summer:(

  • I just drilled two tiny holes in the back since the speaker wire is only 14gauge... i drilled two cause i have two seperate chambers in my old box

  • Comment removed

  • Once you go ported, you never go back. Ported a sealed box slightly and that made me build my own ported box. What a fuckin difference that made.

  • thanx!! thats a sweet job man... how much you pay just for the subs..?

  • dont mean to sound retarted or whatever but what kinda wood is that your using /

  • MDF

  • yo how mutch power you runing hope its alot or you will blow subs with sealed enclosure

  • good job man, realy nice box

  • nice box man

  • what year l7s are those? are they 07 08 09? i have 08 l7s and the baskets dont look like that. the magnet structure is inside the basket

  • dude you did a nice ass job on the box

  • Good work!Nice wery nice!5

  • thanxxx man :)

  • super +5

  • thx

  • nice job man

  • thx men :)

  • it rocks.

  • veri nice you master like kiker L7

  • Hey mate, i jsut made a box of very similar design, cept 4 2 pioneers, feels good to make ur own box rather then buying 1 hey, for ur carpet ends how did u finish it fold over main onto end carpet or put end carpet over folds?

  • why sealed box, don't because of SQ,kicker is best for vented box........

  • but kicker is still horrible

  • umm no they dont... their like one of the top subs... they might cost alot but you have to know what your doing

  • i do know what im doin and there defiantly not top of the line there actually very low on the "line". the square design was one of the worst designs that was ever made with subs

  • really cus people that worked with them for years and years can say other wise...

  • try talkin to people that actually know what there talkin about

  • oh a guy that has done them over 20 years doesent know what hes talking about??? funny

  • guess not because if u know anything about square subs u know that the square causes cone flex which in turn causes distortion

  • haha you can say you dont like kicker L7's all you want... the L7's hit harder... i seen many people try to beat his L7's and they cant.

  • bet i could destroy his l7

  • with wat huh?

  • haha BLT's huh.... idk that would be close but my uncle seaid he could beat your 18s with his van

  • wow u really are dumb those 18s arent mine. and it wouldnt be close at all. a 15" Q beats 2 10" solo x's

  • haha well duh... i had to do that for you just so you can act like you have a system that can even get close to my uncles or my friends...haha just 4 of my uncles 12's beat yours and 3-4 amps of his

  • thats funny that he needs 4 of his subs and 3-4 amps to be louder

  • he dont NEED it but 1 amp for 2 subs another amp for 2 other subs and 1 amp for door speakers.. ect. and the other amp is for another 2 12's he has set a side for now

  • oh you know that guy you have his BLT's 18 " on your favorites.... i found out he has 15" L7's and here what he has to say....

man im going to tell you right now L7's are fucken sick man if i wouldnt of got my 18's i would of kept my 15" l7 that thing was loud as hell in a 4.5ft^3. so who ever talks shit about them dont believe them dude if you like the then go for it i would recoment them all day everyday man..... theirs another guy that syas L7's are bad ass so anything ealse to say?

  • people are entitled to their own opinions

  • haha.... only dumb people think L7's are shit becuse L7's are badass and loud as hell

  • bracing?:(

  • Nice! I like the Kicker logo infront.

  • thanks .)

  • hey man the box is nice, but were did the ports go in at ?

  • its a enclosure. its sealed

  • does anyone know a good site with tips and detailed instructions on building boxes?

  • where the fuck are the ports

  • Sealed.

  • very nice ;)

  • weak!

  • nice cuts for just using a circular saw workin out of ur garage.

  • Man that has to be one heavy bitch of a box with those bigguns in it!! Bet it slams HARD too. Fantastic build from your garage/driveway!!

  • looks like a pretty good box does it hit how long did it take to make it

  • There is really no such thing as too small of a pox for a port it all depends on the power you are running to it.

  • dumbest thing I've ever heard

  • you must not hear a while lot. i dont give a shit what anyone says about your box having to be 2-3 cub. to be ported its all to do with power and what you are running.

  • looks like a good build. but i have to ask y didn't u port it? not enought room? we need pics of it in the car!

  • not everything that's ported is better, depends on the system requirements

  • cool. what song? :)

  • 4 Strings - Mainline (Original Mix)

  • hu vazki! ez szakíííít! db! 1 tehetség vagy! Le a kalappal! :)

  • kosz redy te is az vagy csak másbaaa!
