Look dude, I'm a korean. i thought i was gonna see some real and objective comparison of korea and japan but what you did was not a comparison. If you wanted to compare korea and japan, you'd have to explain the difference between 文 culture y 武 culture. What you put on the video is how koreans are lacking warriors and lacking stuff like that. in stead you should have put written cultures and stuff. This video is biased. Thus, Japan can't demand its own culture. Maybe, the cultural fusion is a definition for Japan. There is no right or wrong when you compare cultures. However, history distortion of Japan is a hot issue. I think i read an article about this.

Samuel Huntington has a great knowledge about Europe in the book, but he has many errors and wrong guess on Asia. Also, his example about the civilization of Japan was a event that americans and europeans are very familiar with. That is why he gave an example. Also, as I expected, usually Most japanese who wants to stand their cultural pride, brings out the theory of him.

@shiaiii I'm failing to understand your statement above but to answer your question: Japan didn't terminate the britich colonies back in WW2. It was the war in Europe that made them bankrupt and thats why they decided to pull back and decolonize the asian countries because they couldn't afford to sustain it. If japan didn't invade them, Britain still would have decolonized because of their war in Europe and Africa.

It was only after Japan's defeat by the United States did they leave, thus it was chance that Japan left its Southeast Asian colonies. In essence, it was the US that saved Southeast Asia from colonialism
