i came back from a 13 day cruise onboard it around new zealand. infact this morning. but the rooms arnt small. cuz theres loads to do around the ship, so you dont need to spend much time in the rooms. only sleep in the rooms and do everything else around the ship. my suggestion is to head to deck 12 and breathe the fresh air or watch a movie on the big screen.
My wife and I just completed a 10 day cruise on Dawn Princess. We cruised around the islands of the South Pacific. It was a totally amazing experience and something I will never forget.
Yes, they are small. Glad I was able to show you. There's no kettle but there's a mini fridge. We get a bucket of ice delivered each day which melted into cold water. You could bring your own small kettle/coffee. You can get tea or coffee delivered or go to any lounge, or up to the buffet if you want some. There is a small line in the shower stall - small but adequate for a couple of things. There is a laundromat which is incredibly busy - bring quarters. Report back & do ask me more any time.
Thank you so much this is great information for me. We are leaving on Dec 5 for NZ for 13 days. What cruises have you gone on? We are booked to go in a N class Interior room which I think is on the Plaza deck. To upgrade to a window room would have cost far too much, but looking at the room dimensions, it is still the same size. I wonder if the extra money is worth it as we probably will not be in our room very much. How did you overcome you washing problems then if the laundry was very busy?
Hawaii and Alaska. I've seen the interior rooms - the layout makes them seem a bit bigger. Don't pay extra money. You only sleep there! I'd advise going from floor to floor to find laundry machines or don't wait for the sailing days when they are most busy. There's loads to do. You get a newsletter each day and a morning TV show worth tuning into for highlights.
I am due to cruise on Dawn Princess in 5 weeks and we don't, but in an interior room. Boy the room looks so small. What I want to know is ... I know that there is a small fridge in the room, but is there a kettle to make our own cup of coffee/tea? Also is there a pull out clothes line in the bathroom? I can't wait to go on my very first cruise!!
Haha, I would love to have free Wifi Heehee!
