I think the choises she made is part of growing up.. you're supposed to learn from your own mistakes - and that's just what she's done. Now she seems stronger than ever, and enjoys what she does. What's better than that? I rather want to see her do what she wants and be happy, than being an idol with a different image than what she is - just to please others.

@Phielder Cheers to that. She went to national fame at the age of 12, and then seemingly lost it all a few years later. But she has been growing up all of this time. If you watch all of the episodes of the show that starts off with her scoding underage people for smoking, you will see much more of what she learned through all of this. She is a very aware person, and still very enjoyable see performing (singing or acting)

I attended her performance on 2/27/10, and it was great! The fans were chanting "WE LOVE YOU KAGO-CHAN!" She seemed really happy. They even gave her a birthday cake and sang happy birthday for her. After she sang, she did a 30 minute DJ set. It was an experience I'll never forget!!!

Well I am never usually one to judge another cultures customs but a year of house arrest and ending a contract over smoking at 18 instead of 20 and dating an older guy (if that had to do with it) was simply terrible, What a sweet girl, I mean yeah so she went through a phase, funny enough this very song foreshadows the events in an almost creepy way saying "That's why it's okay, your only young once" hmm.. kind of says to me, we make mistakes.. don't make such a fuss. What a tragedy indeed.
