i think what u r doing is really great & the way the book has made u feel & given u a new perspective on life is amazing. its weird to think that something as simple as a book can do things like that for people. i am deffinately gunna check this book out. also if you like this book you should check out some of jenny downham's work the way she writes is amazing and that also makes you think about your life more clearly. keep up what your doing & never lose faith im sure u can change someones life

okay im 13 and im really not the type of person that likes to read books for fun mostly but i read this book because my librarian recommended it for people that like Thriller type books. so i got the book becuz it sounded pretty interesting and because i needed a book fro my book project :) haha but when i starte to read the book on the weekend, i could not put the book down! I stayed up from 8pm maybe 1 in the morning reading the book! it was sooo good! but it was pretty sad throughout the book

ive been wanting to read this book for a while now, because i have a guy friend who everybody calls gay, but he's not and i love him, like a best friend, so every time someone makes fun of him me and my other friends always defend him even though he says it doesnt bother him i hope he doesnt commit suicide:( i would be depressed but i get ur thinking and u looked really cute in this video:)

I think its great that you talk about this! I know it is a serious issue and so many people watch your videos so this is great! I actually don't make videos because I don't want to deal with hate comments. I think I could probably take it but it still worries me that those comments would bring me down. You are a strong person and its awesome that you can over look those comments but you don't deserve comments like that to begin with! :)

I totally agree with this whole thing except with the age thing, I'm 14 and I read it and I totally understood this book. I got all of what you said from that book and I think that everyone should read it, because I don't think people understand how much their actions hurt people.

i won't read this...i'm 13. i think you made good points, but you were a little dramatic. very few people kill themselves over, "you're hair didn't suit you today". in my opinion people should be aloud to say things like that. if it's, "you look ugly, go kill yourself", that's a WHOLE different thing. but we can't control the little things. i love your videos but i just wanted to voice my opinion on that.

hey cici. ive read the book before, and i loved it. and ive been in the same spot as hannah. i know that if someone had came up to me in school and wanted to help me, it would have helped a lot. just little things like "hi" or "i like your outfit" could really help get through those hard days. i think you definitely should talk to those people. :) youre a great person.

i appreciate and agree with what you're saying, but i think it's really bad that people should be held "responsible" for somone elses death by saying one mean thing. yes, they shouldnt have said it, but the person who committed suicide was the one who took their own life. nobody forced them too, and its theyre fault if they didnt have the strength to pull through, not the person who said one mean comment.didnt mean that to sound too harsh, but you cant live your life stepping on eggshells 4ppl

Just because i think a lot of people will watch this and be like wow thats a strong topic i want to hear more, but won't actually go out and buy the book and read it.

I think this could really inform people of the seriousness of being rude to someone. Especially because this is on youtube and so many youtubers get made fun of. Maybe the people that write rude comments and watch this video will understand writing those comments may kill.
