Tim Russert doesn't even understand the depth of what Ron Paul is saying. It is clear that Tim Russert is intelligent but is ignorant to what Ron Paul is really saying.

Russert puts his trust in the WALSTREET JOURNAL.

Ron Paul has first hand education and knowledge about the government system both of them are having the discussion on. SO TELL ME, WHICH ONE REALLY UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THE SYSTEM.

He is kind of drilling him near the end. I bet that's just what they do on this show to any running politician who comes on, but it's not very fair arguing to bring up a new point in a hurried fashion when an earlier one is still under scrutiny. Paul sounded like he was getting to a decently reasonable point before he was cut off at the end

Tim Russert was defending the status quo because his ultimate boss. General Electric, is probably the biggest government contrator of all. War is good for GE's profits. If I get a chance to piss on Russert's grave, I'd do it.

Russert was engaging in the same kind of "Gotcha" journalism that he helped make famous! Russert did everything to swing the context of the interview away from the core issues that Paul is advocating, to some woulda' coulda' bullshit about the civil war. Tim Russert came to meet the press as a political insider and nothing will ever change that. No matter how nice a guy Tim was, and I'm sure he was a great guy, he worked for, and advanced, the agenda's of those who would sink this nation.

Srhandel. RP has no problem with responsible oil exploration in anwar or anywhere else for that matter that I am aware of. Ron is the voice of reason in washington. A true man of principle.
