  • Sure, i use granular fluorite, you can use chlorine as well, or common table salt. It doesn't stick because the mold are hot as well :)

  • Hi. please could you tell me what do you add to the aluminium when you mix it and which is the material of the molden to make the ingots? why the aluminion dont get strick on the mold?- Thanks.

  • Hello my friend , i am new to this melting aluminum. I was wondering is it done to make ingots for profit or just a hobbie? i see a lot of videos on this and decided to ask.It appears interesting and if i can profit from it ,i am interested in this process..please let me know your opinion , i appreciate it thanks much ...Happy Holidays..

  • @CHIBA280CRV depends on how you want to look at it any hobby can be used to turn a profit and ingots from scrap can be transformed into something worth selling like engine parts, bike, fishing lures, etc with means profit

  • and this is "extruded" aluminum how? casting =/= extruding.

  • @wootwoot409 dross aluminum oxide, can be turned into rubies and saphires it you have the equipment and know how
