  • Maybe next time they will ask you which direction musically they should go :)

  • @SynnerAboveAll AS they should

  • I just love when a band decides to go in a different direction musically people think they are selling out. Yeah, Jasin and Brad aren't in Shinedown anymore...GET OVER IT!!!! They have obviously...at least Brad has that I can tell. No matter what happened between them all...it's between them not the fans. It's been what 4yrs...let it die!! And I know for a fact that most of those guys still talk to each other. Music has not died it has just went is a direction that you obviously don't like.

  • one thing to say i believe in your right to critic there music, but this is great music and you should not put down a group for your opinion

  • Look Shinedown definitely has not died and music has not died You OBVIOUSLY don't have a freaking clue to what "good music" is! You would be the type of guy that says "Shinedown sold out because they made a song for "Alice In Wonderland"

As Everyone else is saying if you don't like the current state of music then don't listen to it or go listen to Justin Bieber and leave rock music to REAL FANS!

  • @Celloplayer08 I would say Shinedown died when they fired Brad and Jasin then took Jasin's parts out of the sound of madness. The music died when they went mainstream with Second chance.

  • @buffpants22 Brad and Jasin didn't make the band they all did was whine about how Brent and Barry didnt want Jasin and Brad in the band cause they still did drugs after Brent quit so they left the band

So my question to you "Buffpants22" is where are they now hmm? Ill tell you Brad and Jasin joined the band Fuel never to be seen again cause they suck without Shinedown! Besides they are probably off doing a line of Coke right now anyway I respect Brent for getting off Drugs!

  • @Celloplayer08 LoL so great for proving my point, Brent wanted Jasin and Brad out "drugs" were of little or no matter. Brent had Jasin removed after he was arrested and let go on the charges, he then didn't want Brad there anymore so Brent "bull" Smith had him removed and replaced with Zach and Eric. They didn't leave the band Brent asked Atlantic to let them go because it was HIS band because they formed from Dreve when Atlantic only wanted Brent. Drugs is a bullshit excuse.

  • @Celloplayer08 I know far more about Shinedown history than you I was at Rolla when Brad was let go, I talked to Brad and He explained the whole situation to me, Jasin through one of my aquantiances sent me Dirthouse album so it would get released.

  • @buffpants22 Look dude you may think you know more Shinedown knowledge then me but obviously you cant prove that! Besides you are sitting there acting like your Best Buddies with Jasin and Brad....You are not even close your just a fan to them You may THINK you have the whole story but you don't and now Jasin and Brad aren't even in the same band now even after leaving Shinedown so tell me that smart one! On a side note Shinedown is better then ever I'm glad those 2 are gone!

  • They Dude Guess What! SHUT THE FUCK UP! Your just unhappy because your not famous like Shinedown. So GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • @Morgan2330 K. What's the physics of that situation cause I need a blueprint to "fuck myself", It's doesn't seem structurally possible.

  • you sir are fucked

  • Then listen to their older stuff.

  • Then listen to their older stuff.

  • This is pretty extreme. I mean its not the greatest song ever put out by them, but the death if the music industry? Really, just listen to someone else if you don't like it.

  • @mynameisnyhm No it's the death of Shinedown as a band of great music to a mainstream rock group that puts out crap. You don't have to comment if you don't like it.

  • Fun Fact: It's just music, you don't like it don't listen to it. Don't dwell on something you don't like for hours.

  • @jadavis84 Fun fact: It's my video i'll do what I want, you don't have to watch or comment it at all. Actually that's two facts i like this game.

  • @buffpants22 My advice was actual advice. You are actually lowering the quality of life by dwelling on things you don't like versus just ignoring them.

  • Y'know what? I think you're completely over-exaggerating when you say music has died. Music changes, opinions change, the world changes. Y'know, I do agree with you to an extent that this is a completely different Shinedown... and as much as it pains me to admit it, I'm not as keen on it as any of the other Shinedown albums... They're gradually going downhill - In my opinion... But hey, people still like them, and they're doing what they want (I hope) and still pull in a crowd - so let them.

  • @berni907 1

  • @berni907 1. people are sheep, if you like music for no reason other than it's a certain band it's not music. 2. Thanks for agree. 3. i'll let them do whatever they want they're very successful and good for them, but if they put out shit music they should be called on it.

  • @buffpants22 1. People like what they like and you should leave them the fuck alone, this video was merely made to try and get attention. 2. I do agree, but only to a certain extent. 3. It's not necessarily "shit" music. It's just not the music that you like. Maybe this is the direction they're going. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Simple as that. Chances are I won't be listening to it much either but I'm not gonna bitch and moan about it.

  • @berni907 1. Dude you not must have been around int he Us and them days. My opinion still stands. 3. It's kinda shit compared to Burning bright, lady so divine, In memory, lost in the crowd, stranger inside, devour, sound of madness, etc. This is a ploy song to get people to listen for the sake of having a mainstream song, that might be what current shinedown is about but that spoils their foundation.

  • Music died when Pop was the POPular music. Music Died after bands that were found in the garage who rose up to be great music musicians that is when it died. Shinedown is trying to bring it back.

  • Well i've spoken with Brad before hand. So they don't want to make good music, they just want fans and generic radio rock is ok? Well if that's what they want ok. But I can still call crap crap they put out something good i'll call it good.

  • I think it "DIED" the minute you uploaded this rant to be honest.......

  • @WestfieldBigM that wasn't even a rant. That was me being nice. It died when Shinedown picked radio play and more mainstream fans over good music to be honest.

  • @buffpants22 How do you figure thats what they want, did you ask them? probably not....and comparing them to Nickelback, no comparison, however they are both great bands in their own right...fans tend to forget, radioplay not only gets the word out, it makes the bands more money to create more music....if you wanna blame anything for the "Death" of rock, i'd point my finger at MTV first

  • Thanks for that well thought out response.

  • you're a failure

  • @jubjubchub You're a sweetheart.

  • @buffpants22 Thanks <3

  • you're a fat hobo, shutup.

  • @BrokenUnderground1 I love you too.
