Back in September i was able to see elton in the front row. It was so incredible I cant even begin to explain it. Many people complain about his voice now, and i admit its not what it used to be, but in some ways its stronger. I dont think a song like This Train Dont Stop There Anymore could be sung by young ej. This song is a great example of it with his "new voice." Great Job Elton, keep on singing

I love Elton! look at 2:30 in the clip...he stumbles a bit like he forgot the lyric for just a split second...then he gets a disappointed look on his face for just a split second. This is just one example of how Elton beats up on himself...it's his perfectionism. Actually, it's the Prince's Trust Concert at Wembley Arena in 1987. Australia and the throat surgery was 1986. Passionate version of the song though...has a lot to do with EJ's first vistit to meet Ryan White It can only be found on the CD "Brittle Bird"

Perhaps some don't know, but this is the first time Elton sang live after his throat surgery removing nodules from his vocal cords. He had said that he was terrified to find out how his voice would sound and he said he had trouble hitting his falsetto, as we all know now is bascially non-existent.
